WOYWW 386

Happy WOYWW  deskers... I couldn't do it to you a third week... I went shopping!

I found somewhere who had in stock the Seth Apter mini stencils (That's Crafty)  and whilst I was browsing the stencils saw the large one too (not one of his designs)  which joined the others in my basket...  Then at the weekend I was in The Works and picked up some cheap trims, and then in Smith's I bought some pens..... I love the Pitt artist pens, and whilst these aren't especially cheap in Smith's I was itching to add to my collection of them!   the Stabilo pens were marked as being £15 off, well I fell for that, don't know if they are cheaper anywhere else, but hey, what the heck!! they'll be great for journalling,  they are a fine tipped felt pen, and as you can see (actually you can't, sorry!)  there are loads of colours - 20 in all!

Not a lot has happened to the journal page from last week, I stencilled some circles (Donna Downey) with Snowflake Fresco...and doodled round them with a fine line pen.

hopefully it won't take another week for something else to happen to this!
That's it for me, I'll leave you in the head desker Julia's capable hands for the rest of the desks.

Thank goodness for this post! I was having the vapours over your not doing any shopping. Love what you bought - am envious now.

Happy WOYWW. I am having shopping withdrawal symptoms, as I am currently on a real push to get my credit card debt paid off, so no crafty stash unless it is something like paper or bookmaking supplies. I have promised myself a treat next month if I sell some more Tarot readings. Loving the Seth stencils. Just read his newsletter and so much inspiration. Ali x #7

OMGosh. I'm in stencil heaven. And those pens look like fun, too. Felt tip pens are probably the best, because they can take paint and not quit, like some pens. Don't ask! have a great Wednesday.

I'm still trying hard to ignore the art journal in me calling. I just never have the time for yet another hobby - too many things in the pipeline!

Lovely stash, cute page. I'd have to cover it in Mermaids. Or fish. Probably both, to be honest.

Have a lovely week!

I do my journal pages just like you - it can take days or weeks sometimes to finish a page, I try to leave it open so when I walk by ideas pop into my head! I also like photographing it in stages, and I will often use a journal page I haven't completed yet as a part of another project (printed out). Thanks for sharing! Lindart #49

Love the stencils. I love the Pitt Artist pens too - they create great shading as long as you put them over something which has been sealed and is non porous. Happy WOYWW Sarah #31

Well girly, you've done more than me....on the shopping front! Ha! At last I can say, I've done something...by going away at the weekend I did some scrapbook pages at last. Now to get into the cards........! Pitt pens seem to be magnets for the likes of us...but I think you have more than me..., but then you do actually use them!! Nice stencil collection, really like the make it count one.

Hi Helen, love the stencils. Pens are good too!
I'm loving the Wanderlust course but I'm finding it difficult to keep up with all the activities. I make sure I see all the Friday videos though! And I've enjoyed pretty much every one of then!

Loving the trims, Oh I SO need to get out the house and pop into Sutton but I guess The Works will be all sold out by the time I make it. Although I could go today????? Thanks for the visit and inspiration and prod and poke and just being a good friend. Hugs and thanks for visiting BJ#39

PS room back to normal and extra cleaned in the process, stuff sorted BUT I have hurt my neck - ho hum, perhaps Sutton will have to wait for another day and typically my work week is 3 days next week not the usual one!

I know you gave me permission before to add this blog on my left sidebar, but I would also like permission to add your photo blog to it, too. That way I'll know as soon as (or at least soon after) you post and will be able to drop by sooner. Since I never do anything by e-mail, it's my way of keeping up on blogs I love to follow.

Great to see the new goodies - though it sounds as though the Christmas miracle may not have been the only post recently with no new toys, so I may have spoken too soon - sorry!

Your fab bubble page has reminded me there's another page spread in my little journal which I haven't shared on the blog yet... now I just need to find time to write the post.
