WOYWW 361

Happy Wednesday and time for another desk share - WOYWW week 361.  Link available at Julia's Stamping Ground

I must be slipping because I haven't bought anything new again this week!
So, we'll zoom straight to my workspace...
a large (A4) journal page in progress.. I was attempting to loosely recreate a masterboard background I made a while ago and which I used most of for a friend's birthday card (which I can't share yet cos she hasn't received it) ... in fact it's not a lot like it at all apart from the vague colours of Fresco paints I've used!

Not sure where it's going from here (although I might have a bit of a dabble with some extra layers of paint/stamping tonight ( i.e Tuesday when I'm writing this... )

Still not thought about the anniversary atc(s).. guess I ought to set to there too!!

It's hard trying to recreate a back ground again & never quite comes out the same, but what you've done so far looks good.

Morning, that page looks good, but it can be very frustrating when you're after recreating something you found very useful and you can't achieve it.
have a great WOYWW day,

The best bit about backgrounds is the building up of layers afterwards.
Have a great week

Good morning, Helen. Thanks for the visit already. Yes, a manic week, but a lot of fun, too. Sounds like you are going to have some fun with your pages - trust that by now they are getting to how you would like them.
Take care. God bless.

I'm sure we have weeks to go before we need to panic about the ATC's!!! masterboard idea is a good idea and part of the fun is creating something different every time.

I need to stop culling and tidying and get some crafting done. I too have not thought about the atc's as yet. Got loads of very belated birthday cards to do first though - and a painting to finish, and a couple of journal pages to finish, and not even started Wanderlust yet. Oh me, not enough days in the week.
Cannot believe you have not bought anything again - just not you Helen, you are slipping. Am sure you need time on the internet or maybe I should do some photos of Leandra's stand and her demo for you at weekend.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

Hi Helen, the background is looking pretty good, I reckon. I've really been enjoying the Wanderlust videos and lessons, just haven't had enough time to actually do a lot.

Good morning Helen. I love the background and how beautiful the colours look. I also have been thinking how to do my ATC since I never had made one and it is on the small scale of things which I have trouble making. But I am sure when the time begins to count down faster poof they will be done. Thanks for visiting me earlier and how sweet to say I am still organized as to me it's a crazy mess.Have a super fun week and happy national scrapbooking day. Hugs~Anne L#8

Just popped back to say that The Jungle book is a bit scary for younger children - Emily, who is nearly 10 and Josh, who is 14 both enjoyed it. There was a younger child in front of us who climbed onto her Mums knee halfway through but didn't appear upset! Chrisx

Gorgeous background for your page, Helen, and a nice big album to have fun decorating! Mine is rather small which gives less scope. Thank you for your visit and your nice comment about my baking - sorry it's taken me so long to reply but it's been a very busy week and then I crashed a bit today so I've been resting. We had a brilliant time at our tea party and they enjoyed all the food! I could kick myself - I forgot to take a photo of the table before we all got stuck in but it did look lovely! We three are firm friends after our shared experience, and we all look back on last year as a very positive experience. So much good has come out of it.

Happy belated WOYWW,
