WOYWW 354 "your order has been despatched"

I bid you good Wednesday and happy WOYWW  -  our beloved Julia will be baring all at some time today and letting us link our crafty spaces... I know I stand for everyone who has ever met her - either in the flesh or here on WOYWW virtually, when I say that we send our best love and prayers for a speedy resolution to her condition, explained in her post here which lots of you have already seen.

But, on to my own workspace today... it's waiting a delivery, as you can tell from the subject.. it will probably arrive today (being Wednesday, not Tuesday when I am writing!) which is a bit of a pain.. but gives you something to look forward to for next week!  (I was getting withdrawal symptons from shopping!)

the red paint in the journal  is mop up from something I was doing the other day... can't remember what exactly now.. possibly the tag on the pile to the left of the workmat...
The face is a sketch I drew as a practice for a Wanderlust exercise (not for public consumption!) and hopefully you can't see it too well, drawing is not a strength and especially faces!
which begs me to wonder why I didn't hide it...

Must empty the paint water too... it's been there since I was using the red paint, hence the pink tinge...
Hope you all have a crafty creative week, and I'll try and visit you soon!

You should set up little shelves in your place so you can do home shopping :) so you can survive the withdrawal once you get past it it's not that bad
Don't worry about hiding your face you have the right shape and placement of everything just needs more colours to see it better
hugs NIkki

I was still up so I put my WOYWW up then thought I'd see if you'd done yours LOL!!
I still don't know how you manage to craft on the floor......if I got down there, I'd still be trying to get up this time next week!!
Don't do what I did and nearly drink my paint water.....
Happy WOYWW

Your crafty space never fails to amaze me! I can't sit on the floor for more than 5 minutes without having a struggle to get up again! However if you pop over to visit me I have been doing just that this week! You have a great stash of stuff too!

Morning Helen. i'm just the same when it comes to using page's in my journal for mopping up remains from other inky projects that I forget when I've used exactly so I now use post it notes on most pages so when I go back to them I know what inks & paints I've used.

Hi Helen,

Happy WOYWW, love your busy work space, great sketch too! There's nothing quite like the email 'your order has been dispatched' well until the doorbell and it's the actual order. I do love an online shop - my bank balance does not however!

Thanks for sharing! Lyns #17 x

Of what I can see of your face drawing, it does look good, no need to hide it. Maybe you could paint it in odd colors to meet the criteria of this month's challenge. A fellow wanderluster, Vicky #9

I'm glad to see that you're scratching your shopping itch (so to speak!). Will you have space to put your new items anywhere though?!
Nice words re Julia...I know the support from everyone is really helping.

Hi Helen, I look forward to seeing your new goodies. I enjoy looking at what you receive as much as my own. I am off to the NEC at Birmingham tomorrow so should have lots of new stuff to show next week (I hope!). Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 22

Hey, what's wrong with that sketch of the face??? Everything's in the right place - which is more than it would be if I tried it! Hope your new goodies arrive safely soon.
Take care. God bless.

I chuckle every time I see you in full creative flow in your floor space Helen. Even if I got down there i'd not get back up and with having varifocus glasses everything I did down there would be at the wrong angle for me to see anything in detail [or focus lol]. It looks like it works for you though and thats all that matters of course.
Have a great week.
Hugs,

Thanks for your visit last week, sorry I didn't get back .... hate it when life takes over!!! I think you're very clever to attempt painting a face - I ten to do back views which makes me pretty good at painting hair!!
Take care and have a good week

Hi Helen, waiting for stash to arrive is half excitement for it, and half impatience, I find, lol. Waiting on a die I ordered Sunday, one I saw at the demo day for a lovely small paper ribbon & bow. I also ordered some more stencils from Sweet Poppy when I got home Sunday, they arrived yesterday, great service. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #19xxx

Thank you, I'm blushing a bit now! You are good to use the mop up..i swear half of my supplies end up in the bin as waste through not using them like this! I LOVE the tag, and hey...you can do faces, for sure I see a face before me!

Good morning I can not believe working on the floor for to long as I have table risers so I can stand now. I do from time to time sit on the floor working on simple things in front of the tv but soon have complaints from my family that my craft stuff has made it to another floor of the house.lol love your work space and all the fun goodies that surround you and your face is beautiful great job. Have a fantastic Wednesday. Hugs ~ Anne L #36

You work on the floor? Good for you! I'd be okay sitting down there it would be the getting up that would prove the problem!

Your desk looks wonderfully creative. I know about the shopping withdrawal. I tried it in January. Phew was that tough! Shouldn't be, but I love getting new things. Since I stopped working I have to watch my pennies a little more.

Have a great week

Love your creative space. I am in awe that you can work on the floor. I don't have a problem doing that except that my very nosey and 4 legged companion and art snoop is in my face and thinks I am down there to play with him. It's much easier for me not to work in his domain! :)

Had a smile at your "shop" and look forward to seeing what you bought.
Well, I searched and searched but cannot find your 'face' so you are safe, not that I can draw them either. As for finding me on the weekend with Marta I am there, honest, but you have to be quick to catch me. (Thanks goodness)

I often work on the floor or footstool. Works really well until my toddler starts rifling through all my wool and threads! Looks like a hive of activity - I love to see other people in their busy-ness! Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting, Max #49 :-)

No need to hide the face, you have clearly not seen my attempts at drawing.

Goodness, I didn't realise you were working on the floor until I just caught a couple of comments - I'm very impressed at your ability to do that as I can only manage a few minutes before everything siezes up and cramp sets in! It looks like you have a lot on the go and that face looks pretty good to me! Thanks for the earlier visit, have a great week,

Your floor looks as busy and creative as ever, Helen! I could never work on the floor. Far too uncomfortable and I'd have a job getting up again! Don't you just love the variety on WOYWW? We all have our different ways of doing things and different things we love doing! Thank you for your lovely comment, and my fingers look a lot worse than they feel now! They are not very sore today. It's a good feeling to be through the worst. I am hoping to get back into the studio this week and start playing with my new stash.

Happy WOYWW,

Morning Helen,
What a busy desk, or is it floor? You have so much stuff in such a small space but all so organised. Those stamps look filed all neatly and accessible, just there to use.
So what is the delivery? I'm very interested.
Thanks for visiting my desk and nice comments.

It's alright Helen, I enlarged your photo and still couldn't make out your sketch so no need to hide it :) Your floor desk looks as busy as ever. Look forward to seeing what you have on order. Thank you for your earlier comment. My sister is loving her new home, it's just perfect for her, but there's a lot of unpacking still to do. Planning to get creative later today :) Have a great week. Thanks for your visit yesterday and sorry for the late reply,
Belated happy WOYWW,
