so I cut up one of the masterboards and stuck them to some card blanks.. still need to have some finishing touches to them..
and then it stalled!
maybe this weekend... but I am having a long overdue haircut (my hairdresser has been off on maternity leave and Saturday is her first day back working.. hope her scissors are sharp!)
On the left of my workmat, is the journal page I made at the weekend, for a challenge, but in tribute to the Paris attacks
In case you didn't see it, I've put in here too.
Hope to see lots of your crafty workspaces over the next few days. Head for Julia's Stamping Ground for the links.

A lovely page, just so sad it had to be in tribute of such a tragic event. I only just managed to post my WOYWW this morning so I figured I should seize a moment before the family (and guest) descend :) and make a visit or two!
Good luck with the haircut. I thought it was quite a bit longer than I am used to seeing on you when we were at the crop!
not late, for a change!
Happy WOYWW!

I'm sure your cards will get done in time and it's such a shame about Paris too so sad lovely tribute to them

It seems to be the same song every year: I even didn´t START making Christmas cards....should do it though...
Love your Paris tribute!

Hope we get to see the new haircut soon. Mine needs cutting but I can't get in until early December.
Amazing news - re your Christmas card burst.
Lovely tribute to Paris, if I get time I will do a page in my journal too, good idea.
Hugs, Neet (and thanks for the earlier visit) xx
Hopefully your hairdresser won't be too tired of the newborn so she doesn't fall asleep on the job. Vicky
I always love coming for a visit! Your album pages are awesome! Glenda #28
Hi Helen. I know just how much better you will feel after your hair cut....I usually have mine done every 5 week but had waited 10 weeks for my last one because of all our building work and the need to be here for the builders....Oh do I feel better now :-)What a difference it makes. :-)
Hugs,

I love you Helen but you do not have time to play without a purpose...you need to focus and get the Christmas cards made! har Har, I feel smug and incredibly self righteous, can you tell!! mine wouldn't be made if it weren't for the workshop samples, so it's no great feat ! on the other hand, I have no journal pages to account for...your tribute page is quite something...took my breath away this morning.
Morning! Yep Wednesday again - at least you have managed every week! Once you settle down to the Christmas cards it'll be a breeze...... hopefully! But the weeks are ticking by.....Have a good haircut! Cindy x #30
Happy WOYWW and congrats on the first position in the list. Xmas card making has not really started in my craft room yet - but this weekend I plan to get on with it. Loving the journal page. It is a shame that we have these events to remember. Ali x #36
Hi Helen, loving the journal tribute. This Christmas card lark is a bit much, isn't it? I mean, EVERY year?, lol. Hope the haircut goes well, and you love your new 'do'. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xxx

Yes, Wednesday comes round too soon some weeks, Helen, especially at this time of the year. Your tribute pages are lovely - if only we could all live with happily together. Hope you feel more like tackling those Christmas cards after you've had your hair done. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #32
Lovely tribute page. I am off to the Hairdressers tomorrow too. Take care and happy crafty woyww, Angela x
Your tribute journal page is stunning.
Thanks for sharing your poignant journal page - hope the card making comes together! Ali x
We all stall sometimes - and last week's news was enough to rob anyone of creative joy. Your pages are beautiful.

Hi Helen! wow your desk is just chuck full of awesomeness! No wonder your Christmas cards to happen, to much of everything else to play with! I love your journal page too, so appropriate! Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier!!

Love your paris tribute, good luck with the haircut. Happy crafting, Max #29 :-)
I understand that stalling out of creativity sometimes. I've been in a rut myself lately but am finally starting to pull myself out of it. What you do have completed is quite lovely.

Hope your haircut went ok - I believe that as we get older our hair grows quicker, I know mine does anyhow! Hope you have your muse back now and able to create again.
Thanks for your visit earlier.
have a good week

Lovely tribute pages Helen. Do I spy the JOFY scarecrow? He is lovely. I have that stamp set too and it will be featuring quite heavily in my Christmas cards this year ( and probably next years too!)
