WOYWW 315

Hi deskers, it's time for another What's on Your Workdesk?Wednesday....Head desker Julia leads us round the world checking up on our work spaces...
the new inks and this stencil arrived just after last week's desk was published (well not quite as I publish at midnight, but you know what I mean...)

Thanks to a Twitter friend who picked up some of the inks last weekend and said how gorgeous they were... I just had to check  them out for myself!

the lighter of the pink background stamping on these pages is the Tea Rose, such a pretty colour.

I'm away on a crafty weekend with my good friends Sam, Emma, Lin and Lesley this weekend, can't wait.  Two days of crafting and laughing!

OMGosh. What can possibly be better than crafting with these friends. I know you'll take your camera and show us how you spent the weekend. It sounds like it will be fun.

BTW, those are the SOC colors this week. Still loving this spread, too. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

Ooh nice pages. Are you going on an organised weekend or have you sorted it yourselves? I'm currently looking for a nice house to rent to sort something for myself and a few friends. Happy WOYWW, Cindy

What a lovely page! A great way to use your new inks. Clever you. I have never had anything other than black ink and have recently bought a white pad. I don't seem to get on with inks and don't know quite what to do with them. But I do love your leaf template. Beautiful!
Have a great weekend with lots of giggles and catching up and perhaps some crafting too.

Have a great week,
Lisca#18

Just saw your comment on my SOC entry and decided to leave mine here instead of your SOC entry. I tried to use PAINT on a makeup sponge rather than using a brayer. The sponge soaked the paint up instead of spreading it onto the fabric. So, not being very familiar with stencils, I pounced the paint onto the stencil. It left splotches of dark and light colors as the paint soaked even further into the sponge. I think the next time I try using a stencil, I'll use INK. I may even take a tip from YOU and use pastes instead, then color the modeling/molding paste afterward.

Can't bear to think how many delights I must have missed... Loving this splash of colour - so fabulously tropical when the skies seem to be grey outside yet again! Great pages.
