WOYWW 269

another month nearly over... it is boring to say, but where is the year going? It seems such a long time since the WOYWW anniversary, and it's nearly 1st August... which means I need to make an anniversary card for my brother and his wife... oops!
anyhow, you're here for desks.. WOYWW, the brainchild of Julia (info here) asks us to share our crafting spaces...Can you SEE a space here?!

Decided I'd take this week's "desk" shot from a standing position... really shows up how much clutter (mess) I have surrounding me when I work... the journal page on the left is a WIP and the one on the right is a finished one I did for a Paperartsy challenge last week.
The scraps box is overflowing again (that's the box you can't really tell is a box, out of which is poking the "reserved for stampingbyh" card from the WOYWW crop from a couple of years ago..
Does it look any better from sitting down?! you can make out the white of the scraps box, behind all the pen pots,  at least!

I think I need a sort out sometime soon... not sure when it will get done though, as I'm busy on Saturday having my hair cut and highlighted (got to make room for the hairdresser somehow too...) and Sunday is the Stamperama show at Stevenage which I am going to with some crafty mates... always a good show, small but perfect! (and yes, that means stash will be on show next week!) and of course I'm still hooked to the Commonwealth Games on tv, go team England (and Scotland and Wales!)

I'll leave you to rummage, and will go and make that anniversary card... see you at a desk nearby soon -  don't make a mess will you.....!

Actually, I'm surprised and amazed at how orderly your desk is, even with all those supplies around you.

I'm not playing this week, but stopped by to say hi, anyway.

Let's hope it will not be too hot at Stamperama this year !!!!!

I'm enjoying the Games too...the younger commentary and presenting team have been fab, especially at the swimming events.
Good luck with your sort out! You'll probably rediscover some long lost treasures!

Lots to look at there on your space, Helen. Don't work too hard at tidying up... far too many other things to do and enjoy!
Take care. God bless.

You always have so much to rummage through for us. I'd love to see how you reach the stash at the back when you need to use it ;-)

A tidy desk is over-rated. Always a joy to see such chaos and creativity!

You'll be proud of me - I actually shopped this AM already. Got an email that Zettiology is shutting down. Always loved their quirky images so I had to get a grab bag. Only time will tell if it's good or not...I'll share when they arrive :)

Happy WOYWW!

Yep, the games are being well covered by the tv and we're enjoying them too. I'm loving the shot from standing photo, it really shows the layers we tend to excavate each time we craft!

Such a busy space you have, we've been watching the games if only to keep out of the heat!

You seem to have run out of space on space! I'm not sure if the shove to the left method is an option for you anymore. Perhaps the ever trusty floor? Well, lack of space doesn't seem to have slowed you down any and your mess is filled with lovely creative things so I'll give you a gold star for the day. Judy #76

Lovely busy desk, Helen - if it's too tidy it indicates nothing is being done lol! Not much activity on mine this week because I was admitted to hospital on Sunday with severe chest pains, having suffered a cardiac incident. After lots of investigations I'm now home again but feeling wiped out and hoping to feel better tomorrow!

Happy WOYWW,

Oh boy! I always see something I could use in your stash! Like the heart and large alpha stamps on the right. ;) And what are the three black things by the black tag? Handles of some sort? And I spy a lovely blue box with a vine on it. Thanks for the rummage H. Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Nan G #61

Hi Helen, so much to mooch through on your desk today. Where would we be without the 'shove it to one side for later method,' eh? Look forward to the stash pictures, have a lovely day at Stevenage. Have a great week, Hugs, Shax #6 xxx

Been so out of touch with the world whilst away (no internet connection at The Inn - bah humbug) but am delighted with England's Medals which I caught up with last night.
Gosh Helen, what a couple of shots you are giving us this week, so much to see and I note you are at a show today. Now I wonder what you are buying? Hmmm...
Thanks so much for linking me up

Thanks for your visit earlier - much earlier!! Loft man came on time so I could finish the standing and sit down and sew!!! We do not have cavity walls and our loft is insulated but these people will not be told - so nothing he could do for us, we asked for it in writing but he just laughed!
