WOYWW 178

First off I want to wish all our WOYWWers from across the Pond well after the truly dreadful storm that has been hitting the East Coast. Hope you are getting back to normal and haven't suffered too much damage.

So, it is time for WOYWW again - time to spare no blushes and share your crafty space. Julia, Queen of Desks, is the host.

There isn't a huge amount going on here - I have had a couple of DT pieces to do last weekend but they're all cleared away.  I am working on a canvas but not really sure where I'm going with this yet - it is meant to be a present and I need to get cracking!! Mojo, where are you....

this is how it looked from my seat crouching at the computer....

the snowflake is the free stamp from the December Craft Stamper mag which arrived on Tuesday.
I love the pattern the canvas left in my journal when I mopped the journal surface with a blank page - you can see the texture of the canvas (hopefully) on the page. Now I won't want to cover it up...!!

I did have time at the weekend to complete a journal page (which I haven't blogged yet) - in greens this time.

the main image is a Paperartsy stamp.

That's it for me this week, thanks for stopping by - and see you soon!

I love those pinky mauvy colour and I wouldn't want to cover them up either. I also echo all you said about everyone from the other side of the Pond, and hope everyone is gradually getting some kind of normality back in their lives. xx Maggie (no number yet, what time does Mr Linky get up these days?) xx

Great page and your desk looks busy - love the purples and look forward to seeing the finished result. I think we all are feeling for the folks in the States at the moment and can only agree with what you've said. Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x (no number yet)

What a gorgeous shade of purple Helen... its not a flat colour at all is it, with it's bluey pinks in too. just too nice to cover up!!!

Im nust agree with you - the crafty space is tidy. Not very often we catch you at a mojo-less state! I think I'm going to bottle mojo when I have it, then sell it on ebay or etsy - or just on my blog... seems plenty of people lose theirs all the time. I could make a fortune lol...

hugs
Paula (was #46, but linked last weeks desk up, so now #70)!!! blimey! - well it was pretty early this morning!

I love greens, greeny greeny green!! That's why your Victorian gentleman caught my eye - normally that stamp is used with 7 shades of wee wee, isn't it?? You see, even I, a non stamper, have picked that up! So yours is a refreshing change - I like it!

Ooh me like the canvas print page....you'll have to work around that now! Lovely colours you've chosen. Ono is the same for me...as. Soon as I start something that I'm going to give away, I lock up and can't get on. Trying to hard to please the recipient I think? Argh!!

Never think of using green, unless it is with aqua/turquoise, but I love your page - fresh looking.
Not got my copy of Craft Stamper yet - will have to stalk the Postie.

busy, busy, busy, and lots of lovely creativity produced too. Thanks for your comment and you're on the bits and bobs list!

Hmm, so CS is due to drop through my box is it. Good, I am stopping my subscription though as I think it has got a bit "samey".
Know what you mean about 'happy accidents' love the mopped up page and if you like it don't cover it with anything, jut add some bits to it so as not to obscure the part that you like.
Great journalling, the kind I like doing rather than heart pouring.

I'm sat reading my WOYWW blogs on my sick bed this week but have my mask on so you don't catch anything. I'm enjoying reading what everyone is up to this week [it's better than reading magazines :-) ]. I'm leaving a copied comment so you know I've called by because my hands are too weak and shaky to keep typing out my comments this week.
Big hugs,

Your journal page is lovely, but so is the purple background. Maybe it can be incorporated into a page somehow.

I have only just started art journaling this year, I admit that more often the pages I really like are the ones that take the leftovers! I too love that stamp, looks like a maple leaf behind the fellow - would give such a Canadian vibe to a page! LOL Sandi #27 Notice the "i" - not the sandy the bad storm is named after!
