WOYWW 99

I'm not sure how many of the 99 weeks I have been following - or taking part, which is slightly fewer- in the blog phenomenen that is What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday; hosted by the divine Mrs Dunnit - I know it isn't all of them as I only started blogging just over 18 months ago, but it is certainly addictive, and now I live for Wednesdays!  Now we are rapidly approaching the 2nd anniversary, and my PIF gift is ready and waiting - is yours? (It's not compulsary, though, so don't panic)

So, on week 99, what is happening, chez Helen on the floor?

Well, not today but a couple of days ago - there was some new stash (now that was a surprise, wasn't it, rofl!!)
Got back from a day visiting my Mum on Saturday evening, to find some reading matter and the Umbrella man die - oh yes!   Currently I am waiting for some little brass charms to arrive... ahem.

Took this shot of the "storage area" to the right of my craft mat, from my tiny stool at the computer desk (that you saw last week) - the must haves to hand are spreading - not that there is anywhere to move them to- and the glossy accents IS meant to be on its side as it's nearly empty!
Do you like my sunshade for my Tim and Wendy stamps - the little blue towel?  It's to stop the sun getting to the rubber - cute, huh?!!

Ok, that's it for me today - thanks for your comments last week, and don't forget to come back later to see this week's Tag it On challenge - maybe you'll join in this week?! It's free... lol. Go on, you know you want to.
Are you all going to watch the Wedding on Friday? I will - I've decided against going to London and will just watch it on tv.

Great Desk, love all the stamps. I also try to keep all my clear stamps out of the sun and in a drawer.

I spy a lot of fun stuff on your desk not the least of which is the stamps! I love stamps and tend to want to keep them close by to look at. Luckily (or unfortunately) I don't have sun to contend with in my studio. Thanks for sharing. Vickie aka okienurse #37

You get a better view on your TV anyway - get some fizzy drinks and some crisps in and pretend you are there - you could also get a whistle thilng to blow.
I spy some nice magazines on your desk - along with the "I want" die of that man. So much going on - enjoy! Hugs, Neet x

Getting new stash in the post is always exciting, although I do have to try getting to it before Tom in order to avoid the 'MORE craft stuff?' questionning!!

So much going on on your desk ...I want to rummage ...and I love your umbrella man die ...cant wait to see the results.
As for the wedding ...I want to watch it but DD is at work and so we have decided to tape it and all watch when she gets in so must steer clear of the news.

Love the way people still think this is your desk not the floor!!!! Have to admit it - will be waiting to see THE dress Friday. Nothing wrong with a romantic royal couple. Enjoy the Umbrella Chappie!
Thanks for the peek - enjoy your week!

Oh I do love Somerset Studio. I have back to the premier issue and whenever I get a current copy I find it so interesting to see how it's developed over the years. I would totally curl up with that issue and feign sickness so DH had to feed the kids and I could just soak it in.

Have fun

What a busy desk you have Helen! I've had my pif gift made for a few weeks now - just hope I don't forget to join in on the relevant week!

Love the umbrella man die - that's one I haven't got (yet!)

I'll be watching the big day on TV too!

Thanks for visiting my desk earlier x

Great reading material, I usually have a good browse through those mags at the store. Won't be watching the wedding live due to the time difference, but will no doubt have a peak at the bbc news website for the scoop. I know a lot of peeps setting their alarm clock for 3am over here and the news is full of the wedding, there's loads of special editions of magazines too and the counter is usually about 3 deep with folks trying to grab a copy! I sometimes wonder if the Americans are more enamoured with the whole royal family than the brits!

Thanks for your visit earlier this afternoon and your lovely comment.

New stash - I would never have believed it. Have great fun with it. I shall certainly be watching the Royal Wedding on Friday, before we have our street party (weather permitting)

Chrissy said...

Lot's of stamping goodness on that desk!
Ah, the royal wedding. I guess it's the greatest thing going on right now....all over USA T.V. I don't think anyone can escape watching it. Well, maybe part of the coverage, as I will be sleeping. ;)

Most useful little blue towel in the history of stamping. I want that die. And once you get going with it, I know I'm a gonner to will power! I dunno how many of the 99 weeks either, but it wouldn't be Wenesday without you, for sure.

Isn't new stash just lovely, and what is with the multiplying must-haves. The contents of my little tool basket seems to be multiplying before my eyes.

its a fine line between what you must have at hand so you dont forget you have it ...and the must haves taking over the world lol i like to see my stuff, or i do forget to use it. But yeah sometimes, just sometimes i have to put stuff away in order to get in the room lol

Hi Helen, firstly thanks so much for your lovely comment yesterday! Like you, I'm gonna watch they wedding on TV, told them I couldn't find a hat to suit me so had to decline the invitation :)) Love your craft space, and it tickles me that folk think it's your desk.....lucky you for being supple enough to crawl round, I'd get down and not be able to get up again :( Enjoy tomorrow, am Home Alone so will be feeding my face with salmon and cucumber sandwiches and perhaps Bucks Fizz whilst watching the wedding! Great desk. Love the Charlie Chaplin image in all its forms. Is the source of the Somerset Studio magazine somewhere in the UK I wonder - I'd really like to see a copy I think. I watched the wedding from the bridegroom arriving at the church to the balcony kiss and thought it went perfectly. Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. Elizabeth x #108
