WOYWW 869

Welcome back for an other week's WOYWW meeting at Sarah's Craft Shed. We're already at the end of the month, unbelievably.  I hope you've all stayed dry and free of floods and storms.

I've been quite busy this weekend with my crafting.

I made a birthday card for a friend, with a tag I'd already stencilled the base pattern on, and mounted it on a card and added the layers.
I added some layers to a journal page that had used the same stencil as the card,  with some collage tissue and more stencilling (the words are from Seth Apter designs for Stencil Girl)
and the mop up in the Dina watercolour journal (neon paints used on the transparency figures in the card, with some added pink)

and then some new Dina goodies arrived. (I haven't bought any of the new Paperartsy goodies ....yet)

the top 2 packs are coloured transparencies

Saturday's trip to Kew saw a beautiful sunny winter's day...

there are in the Alpine House, but I hope you can tell the amount of sun shining through the windows illuminating them.

I'll leave it there,  Happy WOYWW see you soon.

Neet, I heard you are home from hospital and I hope you are recovering and that we see you on the desks again soon.  much love.

Great journal pages and your Kew photographs are lovely with blue skies, daffodils, and the dogwood looking so bright. Hugs Angela #4

OMG! I have a whole massive baggie full of coloured transparencies from back in my scrapbooking days. Maybe I should drag them out LOL! Loving the layers - something you do extremely well and, as ever, the restraint to not rush to complete but to sit with a page till it's "right" is something to admire. So not me LOL! Happy quick dash, pre-knitting WOYWW!

Love the card Helen. I would like to see what you do with the transparencies. I've kept looking at them but can't decide whether I should get them but it wont take much. Happy woyww, Angela x11x

Nice bit of crafting going on over at yours this week, I recognise those long people stencils, were they the inspiration for MA’s splurge from Temu?! The last pic is a beautiful one and could be used to make a beautiful sympathy card if necessary, it’s so serene xx

Oh super card my fav colours - love the stencil you used for it and the journal page. Yay the mop up page, I glued some scraps left from my scrapbooking onto my next journal page as it happens, forgot about that. Always lovely new goodies share - and super photo of the Palm house. Are those white daffs perchance? probably not but the photo is lovely and crisp. Hugs Bj#1
