WOYWW 870

We find ourselves at week 870 of WOYWW - wow!  head to Sarah's for the linky... and show what you've got on your desk this week...

It's been a much quieter crafting week... it was too good to last!

I  was rummaging through the Dina Ledger journal for a part done page...
I then proceeded to make a right mess.. I started by stamping the face and the birds directly onto the page but they didn't show up.  I then stamped them on some collage tissue... still didn't look right... so take 3,  stamped them again on white card stock and fussy cut... managed to stick them over the layer underneath reasonably accurately each time though!

much better.
Used a couple of Tim Holtz quote chips and took the backing off (they are thick) so they wouldn't distort the journal page

there is some white splatter on the page too, you may have to click on the picture to see it

the first goslings of the year at Kew (Egyptian geese)  there were 6 but they spread out in the mud!
witch hazel in the sun
iris and winter aconite

don't think this Saturday will be sunny (but the forecast last week wasn't either)
it is however the first week of the glorious annual Orchid Festival so really looking forward to that.

Till then, happy WOYWW see you soon

I hope Neet you are continuing to recover.

Hi Helen, don't know why but the link sent me to an August page but I'm here now. Love the way you've done the face. I like to half do pages and then go back to them, very useful way to get started. Wishing you a very happy woyww Angela x9x

Those little goslings are gorgeous as is the witch hazel. Let’s hope the weather stays kind for your Kew visits.

I was reading the post the link took me to and did a double take when I read it was too hot! 🤣. I pressed home and it took me to the right page. The irises and the winter acconite are beautiful. In A&E at the moment! Hugs Angela #10

Well, the page was worth persevering with as it’s lovely! As are those cute little goslings, so sweet! I always think witch hazel is such a bright pop of colour this time of year, that orange tone is gorgeous xx

Now I understand about the link being wrong. I love how the geese presented the goslings to you.
The dogwood and witch hazel are stunning and there are so many more spring flowers in this one. I like your journal page too.
Happy WOYWW

Thank you for the heads up on the link issue, quite curious where it takes us. Oh my the little goslings made me smile how cute ate they, love the witch hazel and always adore irises. Oh and super save with the journal page - no one would know. Hugs BJ#4
