WOYWW 866

Welcome one and all, it's Wednesday again and time to share our crafty spaces at WOYWW.

I have been mostly trying to keep warm from the cold

I did managed to put some colour on another journal page though so I have at least something to show!

Kim and I got cold first off  at Kew on Saturday but it was very bright, and sunny again and by the time we left we even felt reasonably warm...

patterns in frost
the birds were funny sliding about on the frozen lake

thanks for dropping by - I hope you are all safe from the snow and ice and I do hope Neet is recovering.

happy WOYWW

Keeping warm does seem to be a theme this week! Fortunately it's been unseasonably warm here, and I'm not complaining! Robyn 4

It's been jolly cold here hasn't it, just glad to see the snow gone this morning and the roads seeming clear. Our front door is north facing and the road stays icy without the sun falling on it. Love your ice/frost photos I was well taken by it all in Wisley on Monday. Love the bird stamp - I have a thing for one line drawings at the moment, they are really cleaver. Hugs BJ#2

Belated Happy New Year Helen, keep warm, certainly difficult these last couple of weeks, roll on Spring and a few more points. Youngest son has been invited as corporate guest to tomorrows game, I just hope he can keep his (Red) passion under wraps!

Great photographs Helen, but I am missing the heron! Frost patterns are amazing. Were the cactus balls large or do they just look that way? I wonder if you will be able to get there at the weekend with the snow that is forecast! Hugs Angela #13

My word Hels, that was a cold Kew! Makes me laugh that the birds slip and slide but persist, really lovely photos. Very glad the sun did come up though, it at least made the cold look beautiful. Like the birds in your journal, they are definitely one of the ‘prominent’ parts of my stamp collection, although mine are mostly not real life.

I like your journal page and your Kew photos had lots of great photos of birds and the bright colour of the alpine house.
Happy new year and WOYWW

It's certainly been cold here over the last week. At least today I managed to get round to Annie's for a catch up. Your icy pics are fab but I bet it was chilly at Kew. x x Jo ๐ŸŒˆ
