Hi deskers, it's time for another What's on Your Workdesk?Wednesday....Head desker Julia leads us round the world checking up on our work spaces...
the new inks and this stencil arrived just after last week's desk was published (well not quite as I publish at midnight, but you know what I mean...)
Thanks to a Twitter friend who picked up some of the inks last weekend and said how gorgeous they were... I just had to check them out for myself!
the lighter of the pink background stamping on these pages is the Tea Rose, such a pretty colour.
I'm away on a crafty weekend with my good friends Sam, Emma, Lin and Lesley this weekend, can't wait. Two days of crafting and laughing!
The increasingly inky and painty ramblings of a stampaholic, whilst kneeling on the floor. Yes, my knees do protest!

It's that Pink and Orange again
I was cleaning my paintbrushes yesterday; after doing my tag swaps; in my journal, (the A5 mid sized one) and had a bit of a play later..
I just dragged the brush down the page until it ran out of colour, first the pink and then the orange
Next, I stencilled some grunge paste through the new (to me) Lin Brown leaf stencil
when that was dry I added some stamping (Stampotique French text by Papillon) in Tea Rose and Magenta Hue archivals
The black stamping are WendyVecchi (apart from Remember which is a Clarity)
I finished with some flowers (Lin Brown) stamped and cut out on white card and painted with the pink Dylusion and a few strokes of the orange, to tie it in with the background.
Scribbled some pencil marks round the page to create a border (I remembered, Gabrielle!!) and stuck the flowers on.
As Carmen has so kindly pointed out, this is a perfect fit (with the tags and atcs in the previous post) - Pink + Pink_ Orange for Week 2 of Summer of Colour, so I'm linking it there
