Happy WOYWW to you all. I hope you managed to have a happy Christmas. Mine was very quiet.
I had a couple of gifts to open on Christmas morning (didn't get to see my brother until Sunday) - some perfume from Monica and a notepaper block from my cousinI had a large roast beef dinner...
then on Monday I had to make space for the man from Virgin to get behind the tv to replace the modem on the computer as they told me it was very outdated.. luckily he arrived early (9) and it was soon all back in place. You should have seen the dust... oops. I threw out some dried up ink pads I found whilst there too...
My amaryllis is growing well and about to flower
my fabric tree on the window sill.
I met up with Kim at Kew on Saturday (27th) for the regular Saturday trip... it was beautifully sunny again.
the witch hazel is out in the winter garden so another bright spot of colour.there are signs of daffodils in shady spots already coming through too, so Spring is coming!
I was watching You Tube in bed on Christmas Eve and saw a fabulous Stencil Girl stencil which I ordered from Stampers Grove - not expecting it to be despatched until New Year - but found it on the door mat when i got home from Richard's on Sunday (Royal Mail working overtime!)
so had a play in the ledger journal
3 rows of different sized people - didn't use the smallest row
(there may have been one or 2 other things in the parcel... )
I am off again today to Kew for my bonus in between trip - we are back to work on Friday to ease us back in gently before next week fully back - so my visits to you will probably be later. (watch out for the Kew pics too later)
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and much good health and happiness for 2026...

I hope the modem update helped. Our computer is ancient and going very slow so I think we need to replace it in the New Year. It will probably cause issues but hope it solves the problem. Your new journal page is fab. Holiday time is the perfect time for treating ourselves to new stash. I've just ordered more yarn! Happy New Year! Enjoy Kew in the frost.x x Jo 🌈
I think I recognize those figures! I downloaded an SVG a decade ago with all sorts of people silhouettes and cut some individual ones but I love the look of them in a line. Might have to revisit that download once I manage to get time to craft! DDs amaryllis is deader than a doornail, but hey ho. Do they come back? It might already be in the garden waste... Happy New Year's Eve WOYWW, and wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, joyous 2026!

Hi Helen, we're nearly there for another new year and hope it's a good one with lots of smiles and inspiration. Pleased you had a good Christmas and loving the new journal page, interesting stencil. You really can't get better than James for getting stuff sent. Happy woyww, hugs Angela x8x
Your roast beef dinner looked lush! Glad you enjoyed it and your lovely prezzies too. I’m glad you treated yourself to some extra Christmas stash cheer as well, that really was good service. Witch hazel is such a pop of colour in these grey days, I do love it, looks gorgeous in that sunshine xx
Thanks so much for another year of friendship and support,
Happy New Year, may 2026 be happy, healthy and peaceful
Hugs LLJ 4 xx
A good way to start a New Year….a new modem and new stash. Love the Kew pics….we have daffodils popping up everywhere now too 😍
Happy New Year to you too.
Hugs,

Your Kew photos are gorgeous as ever and the two of you are such bird whisperers, with the heron, geese and crows following you. Now I see it’s because of the monkey nuts! Enjoy your new stash, and a happy and healthy new year to you,
Hugs Lynnecrafts 9 xx
Impressed you made a way in the stash. Love your fabric tree and your new stencils. Happy WOYWW New Year - Hugs BJ#1
I know what you mean! Behind my Telly its covered in cobwebs and dust, looks like the spiders have been having a party! Happy New Year and a Happy WOYWW ((Lyn))#12
I reverse image searched that plant with red leaves/flowers and discovered it is known as a hanging lobster claw! So many fascinating flowers to be found. The heron seems to be there every time now, a very fine bird! Happy New Year Hugs Angela #10
Glad your modem is sorted Helen - hope you are seeing the benefit. Love that double journal page - some useful looking stencils in that parcel. Some great Kew photos too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
