Welcome to those of you that have time on one of the busiest days of the year (if you're hosting Christmas or travelling to visit...) it's WOYWW again with Sarah and the gang at The Craft Shed
A couple of weeks ago Sarah suggested we share a card to the group here as not everyone sends cards in the post...so here is mine. I have been lucky enough to receive quite a few cards and so to those of you who did send one, thank you! Sending lots of love to Neet especially.
as usual my designs this year were simple, and flat, and non glittered (not for any environmental reasons, I did intend to go back over them and add some, but my glitter glues were dried up and then I ran out of time... )
I haven't done any crafting this week - unless you count wrapping up the few gifts I give.
it seems a bit out of focus, sorry!! oh, no look, I did craft, I stamped the tags for the gifts!!Kew last Saturday was, once again, sunny! 2 in a row... made a lovely change
the dogwoods in the winter garden were amazing
and they were very noisy!
I am writing this on Tuesday evening, not long after getting in from work - we're finished now until 2 January (Monica decided we wouldn't open tomorrow morning after all) and it feels like Friday... there's no chance of me knowing what day it will be when I go back to work..!
Wishing you all a very happy, peaceful, food and drink filled (if that's your bag) Christmas with family, friends, or your own company as I am (hurrah, totally able to please myself!) and hoping that 2026 brings good health and fortune to all. See you on the other side!

Have a wonderful, peaceful Christmas Helen. No doubt you will have a bit of time for crafting - enjoy! x x Jo 🌈
Love your card! Thank you so much for yours which is part of the gallery of cards blutacked to the double doors in the hall again. I do love doing this each year, I stop and enjoy the cards every day! I did some quick tag stamping too as I thought we’d run out, that’s the only paper crafting I’ve done for ages.
I’m glad you’ve got a good break now over Christmas but yes, the days are going to get all muddled up now!!
Merry Christmas and thanks again for all the support this year xx

The happiest of holiday to you Helen! Love the card design, I always do love yours, and yeah, who among us doesn't have a stash of dried up Stickles? Ah well.... Enjoy your days off and Happy Christmas Eve WOYWW!

I love your card, Helen, and your photos of Kew are lovely. I have a favour to ask, as my first watercolour class next year is of winter landscapes, preferably no buildings. My tutor is going for something specific (not sure yet) so I’m collecting a few. You’re such a good photographer and I always enjoy seeing your photos of Kew so could you email me any you have please? (Email lmcollis at icloud.com)
Enjoy your holiday and have a very happy Christmas
Hugs

Great card Helen and fabulous photographs of birds and scenery. Happy Christmas Angela #11
Merry Christmas Helen. I noticed the stamped tags before I read about them lol - sometimes we craft without realising it as it's just part of us. I totally forgot to post a card on my blog, not actually made any this year though. Your photo of the gull is amazing. Have a Great Christmas Hugs Bj#1
Happy Christmas girlfriend, I’m all for it being whatever you want it to be, we’re on our own for the 25th and then getting about thereafter, just the tone that we need this year I think! Your glitter glues drying up has made me make a ment2l note to check mine out, I haven’t bothered to use them for so long that they may well be in the same state…I made a few cards but glitter glue didn’t cross my mind! Lovely that Monica decided that enough was enough yesterday, bet you didn’t have much of a lie in. Had to be at the surgery for a jab at 8.25 today and really it’s the one day recently that I could have stayed asleep. Am hoping for disturbance free morning tomorrow as there’s no rush to put a giant turkey in the oven at silly o clock! Enjoy your break, happy Christmas.
Hi Helen, I started off okay this morning and then seemed to lose all sense of time but here now. Love the card and those tags too. Since I retired I get confused all the time with what day it is but so what! As long as you remember when it'a time to go back to work that might be important Lol! Wishing you a very Happy Christmas with hugs Angela x 6x
