Anyhow I hope you are all well.
I treated myself to some new stamps last week - a kind of birthday present to myself - thank you for the FB wishes and the cards
It's not a good photo sorry.
the journal page I forgot to include last week is - I think - now finished
and here are some step by step shots of the progress of it.
sprays (distress oxides) and some marks made with the end of the nozzlestissue (the faces) and transparencies (the letters) and stencilling
I just kept adding. marks made with paint pens
close up
background is Paperartsy Infusions powder spritzed with water (I need a new water spritzer, my Tim Holtz one has stopped working - again, it is the second one that has done that. No idea why. It's not locked in it's travel position )
I managed a very short visit to Kew on Saturday before the humidity got too much.
was delighted to see the gorgeous deep magenta dahlias I loved so much last year, are back in the same bed again
thanks for looking - happy WOYWW July already!!!

Love the stencil and stamps super journal pages the mark making is great. Glad of a few cooler days until the next heatwave strikes Monday! Hugs Bj#5
I love the imagery and color scheme of your ethereal page spread. The flowers pictures are lovely, but my favorite picture is the one of that handsome fox. Happy WOYWW!
Loving your artwork this week - I like the one with the grasses stamps. All so different but lovely x x Jo 🌈
Happy I'm-hosting-knitting WOYWW!
Really like the evolution of the AJ pages. I really should look into the AB stamps. She did one of my all time fave classes in Fodder School - that I have yet to create! One of the classes I am doing for my ICADs is drawing around images - I love yours so might snatch a few Kew photos to experiment with :D I'll let you know...

Hi there! I’m glad the cooler temps have meant more crafting, it’s good to see your fab journal page take shape and I do like your new stash purchases! That dahlia is magnificent, I do love a purple flower xx
Hugs LLJ 3 xx
New stamps, lovely! The new pages looking good and I always appreciate seeing how things are put together. Foxes get everywhere don't they. Nice flower too. Looks like it might be cooler today....or is that wishful thinking Lol! Anyway, wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x
Lovely stages of your work shared today. That purple Dahlia is stunning.
Hugs,

Hello Helen, your new stamps are beautiful. I'm sure you're going to have fun with them. I enjoyed seeing the different stages that go into how you create your journal page. Fascinating! I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures now too. Hope you are able to stay longer at Kew this weekend. Elizabeth x #15
Great new stamps, I did go off and start looking at Paper Artsy stamps, but although I keep thinking I will I don’t do any stamping! Fabulous that the fox came up close, I bet the fox does like the heat either. Hugs Angela
Golly, Kew’s resident foxes are a lot less manky looking than the urban foxes around here! Belated happy returns Helen, I’m glad to see you treated yourself.
Love the wild grasses page, interested that the spritzer has packed up…I don’t think I’ve ever had a branded one that hasnt packed up at some point. I bought a cheap one in home bargains a while ago and it’s a bit of a violent spray but it’s better than any other !
Great pages Helen. Have you tried unscrewing and re-screwing the water mister to allow air in. Sometimes that helps. Stay safe and Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
