Happy Wednesday, lovely peeps. Time already for another WOYWW with Sarah
I had hoped to have new goodies today but they are still in transit from Harrogate.. yes, that means Art From the Heart which means Dina!! ah well, something to look forward to for next week's desk (email says due to arrive Weds pm...)
I did stamp out the new JoFY minis at the weekend
and I even put together a single Christmas card...
one down, many more to go!
didn't get too far with that, and not sure I'll do more this way - will try and find some suitably sized card blanks (I don't have many white small cards left amazingly) and my pre-scored coloured cards are not the right colours for what i stamped out (typically!)
Was back to Kew on a regular Saturday last week, although engineering works meant I had to go by bus there and back, which is a pain (I use the bus in the summer as they get me there for 8 and the trains don't run early enough for the first part of my journey at that time of day and then get the train home) Still there are trains this week and next, I've already checked!
lots of gorgeous leaf colour again and a new exhibition in the gallery, featuring Indian twins the Singh Twins. For some reason, both Kim and I had assumed they'd be brothers but no, twin sisters! Can't explain why, and very presumptuous of us
the post on "photosbyh" has a link to the Kew website feature about them.
the artwork was stunning, and brightly coloured.
It's on for several months so I will have time to have a good look at it.
Thanks for dropping by, enjoy your week, and happy WOYWW

That’s a true crafter’s woe isn’t it? However big your stash, you always need something new for the next project!! It’s the same with fabric and yarn as well as paper stuff so you’re not on your own. I like the non traditional Christmas card, good to have a change of colour. Hope your new stash doesn’t take too long in arriving!

I have always loved that star image and you've used it well. Your stash must be massive I am working hard not to add to mine but it is just so HARD!
Happy quick before knitting WOYWW!

The idea for the star Christmas card looks great and the new mini stamps so sweet, look forward to seeing how you use those too. I always think that i don't need anything else and then they come out with something.....I just can't resist! Pathetic or what! Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x10x
Your card is lovely and it’s good to see non- traditional colours for a Xmas card. The colours in your Kew photos are gorgeous. Thank you and Kim for id’ing the aconitum. It’s always the way that I almost never have quite the right yarn for a given project, it’s another facet of our craft supplies curating. 😀
Happy WOYWW!

Great start to your Christmas cards. You could always do a bit of extra matting with card colours you aren’t sure about, sliver or gold perhaps.. This leaves are beautiful. Happy WOYWW. Angela #7
Well done you with making a start with the Christmas cards.

My AftH delivery arrived today Helen, so I expect yours will too. Look forward to seeing what Dina goodies you have ordered. Great start with the Christmas cards. Love the autumn leaves photo from Kew too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Yes I think you probably have more real stash and not just rubbish stash like me...So, I'm throwing out the rubbish to make room for the real stuff! Thanks for popping by! Happy WOYWW ((Lyn)) #12
I really like the 2 stamps you used for Christmas, the one on the card, and the matching one with the ornament! They would both make nice quick simple cards! I looked up the Singh Sisters. How lovely it must have been to have a sister like that to work with! The art is beautiful, enjoy!❤️Lindart #16
