Welcome to another WOYWW - hope you're all well. Head to Sarah's for the link...
I was at a loose end on Saturday because my Kew buddy Kim and I (wrongly as it turned out) assumed Storm Amy would force Kew to stay closed... so once it sunk in properly that it was October I decided I'd better start getting some Christmas cards sorted... well, started, anyway
I got stuck into some masterboards - the big (A3) sheets are quite thin sheets from a cheap paper pad I bought from The Works lots of years ago, the A4 sheet is much thicker weight card.and I stamped out 9 A4 sheets of designs (mostly Paperartsy JoFY mini stamps
lots of different colour ways
some of the new JoFY minis launched a couple of weeks ago (I was SO not going to buy any more Christmas stamps, but I happened to see a blog post from a Paperartsy contributor that gave me so many ideas..
they arrived whilst I was writing this post during Bake Off, (just as I was checking my emails and thinking, oh they haven't been delivered... postman was late today obviously; unless they went through the wrong door... )
whilst I was giving in to temptation I added the leafy stencil (one of Alison Bomber's that was out of stock when i wanted it before) just because it was there!
we did go to Kew on Sunday - you didn't think I'd miss a weekend completely, did you?! the weather was stunning but I really don't like to go on Sundays because I feel I don't have a weekend; Sunday is my chill day.
The colours were glorious, rich reds and oranges in the trees
taken through the gate whilst waiting for openinglove the colour of these
my favourite autumn spot
Thanks for looking, happy WOYWW;

Well done on the start to Christmas. Such a lot to go on from there.
Love the Kew colours. That photo from the gate is wonderful as is the last one, which is a favourite of yours.
Hugs and wishes for another good weekend.

Hate to disappoint but son is NOT doing his own washing, that is totally my department. He is doing his own cooking/meals unless sharing with Dad as I don't eat the same stuff anymore, and hate cooking. He is working from home whilst here too and there is stuff everywhere.... So yes I thought you'd missed a week at Kew - doh silly me! Gorgeous colours in the leaves and super stamping for Christmas done on the Saturday too, hope you managed a bit of chilling... Hugs BJ#5
A super lot of stamping for Christmas! I like the look of your new haul too! As usual the pics from Kew are stunning! Happy WOYWW! Susan #9
Yay for starting Christmas! Love the stamps and actually the new ones will be really useful, great designs. Love the colours of the Kew pics, I definitely need to get more burnt reds and purples in my garden for next September!
Hugs LLJ 6 xx
Looks like we have similar thoughts. I was sorting out and packing away lots of stencils and stamps that I've been using and taking out the Christmas stuff. I made some C, cards earlier this year and then stopped so need to get back to them again or It will be a rush later on. Happy woyww with hugs Angela x11x
Your Crimbo stsmp designs are looking good. Enjoy your stash! There is so much to admire in your Kew photos this week, the bulrushes, autumn leaves, especially the closeups and the tree framing the temple. Do you know what the blue flowers are, two below the straw flowers, and are thy growing outside? Your photo with the cake is definitely a keeper.
Happy WOYWW

Well done on making such a good start with Christmas Helen. Hope your Kew routine is back to normal next weekend. Loving the master boards. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Well I'm glad you got to Kew but I do understand how a Sunday isn't the right day! It did look glorious, I must say that there was quite a lot of tree damage in these parts, despite being on the very edge of the storm. Love that you're doing Christmas masterboards already, makes me panic a bit!!
Well done on your Christmas card start. The autumn colours are beautiful and those daisy flowers would make a beautiful card, off to look at your latest collection! Hugs Angela #16
I love the master boards. You will enjoy putting them to good use. I really do need to think about C cards but guess I need to get Tilly s stuff organized first.x x Jo 🌈
You have been busy this week. I love all the autumn colours at Kew.
Hugs,

The colours at Kew are gorgeous! We are just getting into that gorgeous time of year, and are going on our annual "Leaf Tour" tomorrow. 🍁I'll try and remember to take some photos! Good for you preparing for C cards! Can't wait to see it all come together!❤️ Lindart#15 Still working on the awful purple rectangle. Problem is, I can't see it! Only you guys can! And it seems to only show up on computers, not phones...my head is going to explode!🤯

Would have called you but it was a mid week quick visit as I had a few days off work!! kyla ps - can we retire soon and just visit gardens, allotments and craft ;-)
