WOYWW 806

Hello again deskers. hope you are well.  It's hurtled round to Wednesday again - see you at Sarah's for WOYWW

I was watching another video on YouTube from Alison Bomber and allowed her to send me shopping for the paper dolls and phototmatic from Tim Holtz - they're a bit bigger than I thought they'd be

I also replaced my water spritzer which stopped spritzing, and the tiny attacher which stopped attaching!!
I also got the scorched timber brown ink pads which I didn't bother with when they first came out....

oh yes, and the moths...

bit of a closer look.

towards the end of Sunday lunchtime I decided I ought to be assembling Christmas cards

so I cut up 2 of the sheets of masterboards and put together some cards.

well the basics, they need to have some sentiments on and the insides stamped.

dug out some more card blanks for some more cards, but I won't get any done till Sunday,   I'm going out-out on Saturday night but won't miss Kew first!

last week at Kew was interesting to see some more of the Christmas lights trail (which opens today, and runs till early January)

this was fascinating, loved the colour changes through blues to purples

salvia still going strong
and we had a closer look at the big pots in the gallery exhibition Expression in Blue - although these ones are beautifully colourful!

they are big!

May be late round today, work is mad busy so there may not be much of a lunch break!

Happy WOYWW

What fabulous photos from Kew Helen. I know what you mean about some of the paper dolls - there are some very large ones in the newer sets. Good luck with work and the rest of the Christmas cards. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

Cleary Kew is much more than plants these days, been so many years for me, maybe need to put that right.

Yeah I get caught out with size issues all the time too. I still think in inches :( Lovelt shots of Kew. That does look fascinating. Maybe take a vidoe sometime :)
It's a sad/angry/scared but doing my best WOYWW

Ha, I love the way you slowly revealed all the bits of stash that have turned up this week! Hope you have fun with them all. The Kew pots are truly amazing but oh, that twisty bluey greeny sculpture was my fav, I’d quite like that in my garden….how big was it again?…..
