Another Monday sees me able to combine two of my favourite challenges - Simon Says this week, asks to see our Distress Inks, and Linda's Compendium challenge is from page 40 - Double Distress.
I have made a Christmas card - the embossing folder is a Cuttlebug one of Christmas ornaments on which I used tumbled glass and dusty concord inks, with a spritzing of irridescent gold glimmer mist, and some prima flowers/embellies. The Merry Christmas is one of Tim's stamps and it's embossed in a pearl gold EP found at the bottom of a drawer of EP's! Can't even begin to remember when I last used that!
There are some fab prizes on offer again, thanks to the sponsors!
You have just reminded me that I have that embossing folder somewhere LOL, how bad is that. Your a quick worker today, great piece Helen. Tracy Evans x

This is so pretty, Helen. Love the embossing folder!
ReplyDeleteCor your title made me panic! Like the double distress though, it works as well as neglected embossing powder!
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely!

Beautiful ornament background. Love this card!
ReplyDeleteHelen, this is so striking! I love the double-distressed background in those deep gray tones with the dramatic magenta flower and star! It's a lovely and original approach to a Christmas card, and is certainly going to delight its recipient! Great job!
