WOYWW 886

Welcome to another Wednesday - WOYWW  with Sarah and the gang. I hope you all survived the heat at the weekend and beyond.  It has been unbearable here!  I am not made to cope in 34 degrees!

I added some more layers to a journal page I started a few weeks ago

pieces of tissue layered over a painty layer and a stamped background.

then I ran out of inspiration

Kew on Saturday before the worst of the heat, was lovely

I did also go on BH Monday, but only lasted a couple of hours before bailing

and I concentrated mostly on the sculptures.

Kew has seen record temperatures for the last 2 days running. I really hope the weekend is cooler!

thanks for dropping by, and thanks to Kyla for the anniversary atc which I just remembered to photograph along with Jan's !

I agree totally unbearable the past few days, should be considerably cooler from Sunday, only a few more days to go!!! Super journal page and the poppies are gorgeous. It must have been hot for you to bail out of Kew!!! Hugs Bj#2

Yup, I think Kew won the hottest place in the south award at the weekend! Love the statue and the view, your photos are really lovely.

I think you were brave even attempting Kew, I’d have bailed for sure even before setting out! Having said that, I love the poppy shot and the sculpture makes a great frame for the view. Hope the temps are cooler this weekend!

I am really hoping for some cooler weather, I prefer the snow but you all know that Lol! The sculpture photo is great and has given me an idea for a journal page, not done one for ages as the baby journal has taken up my time. Happy woyww, Angela x10x

I like your layered journal page and your Kew photos are fantastic. I’m glad they’re letting you get close to the Henrys, they’re so tactile.
Beautiful wildfowl and fox photos, and your fave alliums are beautiful. I must show pictures of your peonies to mine to remind them how to flower! They were born on a Stoke timeline and they’re sticking to it! They’re older than me so I should cut them some slack. 🥰
Stay cool and happy WOYWW
