I spent some time on Sunday - my crafting time - making some cards using the new Alison Bomber stamps I showed last week. I had fun!
they'll probably birthday cards - this one definitely
two other colour variations
and another of the stamps on a journal page - typically, so far unfinished
I really do like that stencil in the background though as you can see!
Saturday saw Kew, of course, and what is getting to be a colour-filled garden again
there is one more weekend of the orchids to comethe magnolias are coming out and we even saw some sunshine!
the main area where the magnolias grow at Kew is low-lying and it has been as you know, very wet... it could have been much more squishy than it was, but it was soggy underfoot!
spent some time at the lake and the colours on this mallard's head were just stunning!
what a handsome chap!
Thanks for stopping by, I'll see you soon.

Hi Helen long time sI have joined in WOYWW, youve had some fun stencilling and stamping.... love the Kew orchids and mallards, well spotted. Happy WOYWW, Shaz in Oz.x
The stamp and stencils work beautifully together and will make a lovely set of cards . Gorgeous Kew pics - good to see Spring blossoming isn't it. x x Jo ๐
I like your cards and blog page, that background is very fetching. Your Kew photos are gorgeous, especially of the orchids, animals, mandarin and mallard ducks. It struck me that we see photos Kim takes of you but none of your photos of them.
Happy WOYWW

Just popping in to say hello Helen, beautiful Orchids, mine not looking so good lately(but like something else), almost as thought they have outgrown themselves .

Yes that stencil makes for a great background, love the yellow and purple the most. Gorgeous orchids at Kew, not so many at Wisley but we had a good time there on Saturday anyways. Hugs Bj#10
