WOYWW 845

Hello deskers,  time for another WOYWW  - our lovely Sarah holds the link here

It's turned hot again so it's going to be a quick post before the Great British Sewing Bee (writing this on Tuesday evening as always) and I can get back in front of the fan...

I spent a couple of hours on Sunday morning fussy cutting all those flowers out, but haven't used any of them yet

I did play in the ledger journal again though. stamps, stencils

needs a bit of white pen work to bring it to life

Had another lovely morning at Kew on Saturday before it warmed up

the rudbeckia in the Evolution garden were looking particularly good
and so were the lotus flowers in the Temperate House.

Thanks for dropping by, See you soon.

Love the page in your journal - the colours are amongst my favourites. They remind me of cream with whimberry pie. I can see some faces in there but the quotes are too small for me to decipher.
Lovely choice of flowers to show us. Enjoy your week and Kew at weekend k - hope it is not too hot.

The colours on your journal page are some of my favourites - restful, I think. I really love to see your Kew photos Helen - lovely rudbeckia - so cheery. x x Jo 🌈

The journal page is rather lovely and you’re right, a pop of white will only enhance it more. I love Sewing Bee, think it’s between Caz and Kit, they’re very creative and damn good sewers, wish I could do that!

I don't blame you at all for wanting to get back to the fan, I don't like this heat much. I had forgotten the sewing Bee was on but as I don't have any control of the remote (hubby looks after it Hee! Hee!) I just watch whatever comes on though to be honest I'm not much of a TV watcher. Happy creative woyww, Angela x8x

I agree - white pen is just the ticket! Hot yesterday, cool today. My bady is struggling to regulate LOL!
Happy WOYWW!

So glad you have a fan, maybe invest in an air-con unit sometime. I can't believe the number of people who are getting them now. I was really exasperated with the heat yesterday my craftcorner walls were exuding heat as fast as the unit could dissipate it, so I didn't come alive till late in the evening and scrapped another double LO... Adore your journal page and yes the white pen will bring it to life. Hmm maybe my LO could do with some too thanks for the nudge. Decorating some of my LOs with journaling features these days and I stencilled on the last one. Super flower photos, love them. Hugs BJ#5

Great journal page and lovely flowers from Kew. It is very warm today although we have a bit of shade . We are next to an oak tree and acorns keep falling onto the caravan roof, thankfully not often enough to keep us awake all night! Hugs Angela #12

Love your page. As you can imagine I watch Sewing Bee every week [but would never want to go on it :-)]. I love seeing what they make.

No need for a fan up here! Yesterday was the first really warm and dry day we've had for quite some time. I watched the Sewing Bee too and it brought back memories of my mother's make do and mend projects. She was really good too at taking something old and creating something new. Love your journal page and the photos from Kew. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #14

Yes this weather is not conducive to crafting as my room faces South! Even with shading on the window and as much air flow as I could manage it got to 30 on Tuesday. I can cope with the heat but can't get much done, prefer to just sit quietly on my deck. Yeah Splodge and I are OK now. He's coming over later today but we have him for tyhe evening as well so the day is young!! Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #9

Hi Helen, I am back on my blog, may be temporary though! I've loved a look back through your posts and will head to Kew later! I must say those coneflowers are absolutely gorgeous - in all colours!! They are on my list of NEEDS! This heat is too much isn't it ? I gather it's even hotter down in the south! Hugs, Chrisx
