WOYWW 801

What a great reminisce we had last week with WOYWW!  It was such fun to see how long we've all been playing along.  Some of you much longer than I remembered.  Please head over to Sarah's again to join in again today.

The weekend flew by and there wasn't a lot of crafting time..

All I managed was some test stamping of the new stamps that I got last week..!

I think the overlapping circles are my favourites
but it could be the lovely blue I chose to play with.

I had a sort of idea for
this stamp just to the left here...
but not sure it will come off!

this is the new Mattints (minus the red) but there's only

2 layers of each colour so they are very pale still.

the one called Ash (right at the top)  is very pale and doesn't show up in the photograph  - it will intensify if you increase the number of times you paint the colour on.

It felt so long to wait to leave for Kew on Saturday - being a morning person that's why I like the 8am starts so much

orchid in the Princess of Wales conservatory
the trees are - slowly- turning colour, they seem late this year (and that's to do with the wet summer apparently)  and the sun was out, so it was a lovely visit!

Till next week, happy WOYWW!

Autumn is my favourite season because of the colours. Went out yesterday and it was lovely being driven so I could marvel at the colours of the trees. Bet it is lovely to visit Kew in autumn.
Yes, I love the circles but when you point out about the colour it makes me think - love that shade of blue. Look forward to next weeks experiment.

I love the way you create your backgrounds with over printing. It seems so simple but its definitely a knack to create the beautiful ones you do. I bet Kew will be wonderful over the next few colourful weeks. x x Jo 🌈

Your samples are so close to Masterboards you should just keep over rinting till you like it. I love the soft colour of the Mattints (lol! I have Martinis on the brain!) and that orchid is amazing!
Between week for me.…and knitting, of course
Happy WOYWW.

Hi helen, I love the colours of Autumn but Orchids now they are my love and have been for a long time, they are such a special flower though some of them are a bit choosy about when and where they will flower. Have a good woyww and big hugs Angela x9x

I like the circles stamp too. The changing colours must be love at Kew. The leaves covering the lawn this morning are lovely yellows. All soaking wet 😟! Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

That circle stamp is pretty cool, the blue is a lovely colour and yes! I've noticed the trees have turned quite late. I so hope next year is better weatherwise!

I haven’t heard of Mattints - what are they then? The bluey grey colours you’ve used are rather fab, useful for all sorts of themes and projects. Gorgeous pics of Kew, isn’t that orchid stunning?
