WOYWW 789

Hello, deskers, Happy WOYWW time for another trip round the desks of the world. You can join in at Sarah's Craft Shed.

I don't have a lot to share this week -  a page in my square Dina kraft journal.

The weekend was a bit sport heavy after Kew on Saturday (and this weekend will be golf filled!)

it was a shame England couldn't manage to win the Euros but Spain deserved to win.

Kew was good though, after Kim and I dodged some unexpected early rain!

the swans by the lake thought we had come to feed them!  they're quite friendly though.  the cygnets are growing fast!

Hoping for a sunny trip this weekend - so far, the forecast is looking decent!

Happy WOYWW and I'll be round to see your desk soon.

  3. Hi Helen, your page is lovely, nice combination of blues. The photos from Kew are gorgeous. I love marigolds. Such cheerful flowers. But it's that shot of the swans that stands out this week. It's amazing! Have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #3

  4. Gorgeous page and I love that stamp. Your macro photography is always so lovely too - that flower looks like sunshine, even if it is in short supply this year in the UK!
    Yay! On the day…

  5. Another great journal page and loving the photos too. I'm not a big lover of football but it would have been nice if England had won. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

  6. It looks like the swans are holding your friend hostage!! ‘Give us all your bread or else…..’. I like your journal page, it works well. Shame about the footie, I’m a Tour de France girl myself.

  8. Love your journal page. Your Kew photos are gorgeous- the close up of one plant - a succulent? - is stunning and it’s good to see the foxes.
    Take care and happy WOYWW

  9. Love you journal page, a fabulous colour. That many swans would have made me a tad nervous! I am sure they were all well behaved. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

  10. I bet Kew was great, inspite of the weather. I'm going to miss going to all the gardens we used to visit; Most pet shops sell food for ducks and swans as bread makes them sick. I take peanut some times, they like them.Happy WOYWW!?((Lyn))#15

  11. Oh will you look at those cygnets! I would have been quite anxious being surrounded like that though. Such a great sentiment in your journal this week and very true indeed. Have a splendid week, Lisa-Jane #11

  12. We have swans and cygnets who roam our street and boy do they leave a lot of poo around - I think we need to train them to scoop the poop🤣 I agree Spain deserved to win the footie. Better luck next time under new management. Lovely journal page. x x Jo

  13. Super journal page, loving the blues and layers. I'd have found the swans a bit intimidating, was bitten by one as a kid trying to feed it a crisp! Hope the weather holds out for you Saturday. I didn't draw the faces btw, they are traced from printables. Hugs BJ#13

  14. Hi Helen
I do look forward to Kew photos. Thankyou for taking us a long each week. I'm waiting for the Olympics to start. Of course, I'll be on the road for most of the but I'll be watching opening ceremonies.
