Dancing in the Rain

I caused much amusement at the end of our weekend of crafty classes in Milton Keynes on Sunday, when I gathered up lots of scraps of tissue wrap that had been left over from our projects. But I ended up with quite a pile, and was keen to put it to good use... Here is some more, in a journal page.

Once again I have been using Spanish Mulberry and Space Cadet Fresco - I think these are going to be a favourite  combination for some time to come

I also used some of my own music tissue wrap on this page.
Used a mixture of brushing and pouncing the colour on this page, under and over the tissue wrap.
the right hand page I used the same colours (with a thin wash of Claret too) but streaking the paint down the page, adding the  Snowflake whilst the Space Cadet was still damp to add to the streaky effect.

Stencilled some tiny circles in the new opaque Peacoat.

Next, the stamping (Wendy Vecchi flourish stamp and Cornflower Blue archival ink) and then some black - script stamp (from Paperartsy Clocks 1 plate)
Before some more stencilling - reverse chickenwire in Little Black Dress Fresco, and some pouncing with the remaining paint and cut and dry foam.

Looks a bit busy now, especially the first page - time for the accent images...

I used the same Kaisercraft stamp for both pages, stamping it on white card and attaching it to the left hand page.....

Before cutting it into strips for the right hand page.

I outlined each group of words with a black PITT artist pen.

I'm really happy with these pages!

  6. Fabulous pages both of them! I saw photos of the workshop and it looks as if it was a great success and what a fab idea to make this with some left overs so to speak, that KC stamp just finishes the fabulous background off perfectly!
