Craft Barn Alpha Challenge - Z

So this fortnight, we are at the last letter of the alphabet - though not the end of the challenge.  Z.... a true challenge from the Craft Barn

My dictionary (which is half/half dictionary/thesaurus) has no Z pages - because I painted over them when I did my Y definition... so I had to hunt down a spare.

There weren't many words I could interpret easily or well, so I took the Z zed (zee if you are American) definition itself.
I cut the definition from my spare dictionary, and glued it to mine, and painted the page with Stone Fresco paint, and dug out as many alphabet stamps as I could find, stamping them around the pages.

and a couple of Grungepaper Z's too... Painted one Eggplant and Blood Orange, before adding some Treasure Gold

and a smaller one, French Roast, and adding Treasure Gold.

I don't think this will be winning me a place on the wall of fame like my D (drip) page did - thanks again to the Craft Barn for that honour!

  12. Hi Helen, I had just about decided that I was going to have to take this approach for letter X - sometimes you just have to work with what you've got! Great concept and I love the textured pieces. MMx

  19. Great way to get round your 'z' problem. I can't say I'm liking the look of any of the remaining letters, but as you have shown there is a solution to be found for these tricky letters.
