Amazingly, Hels' Sunday Stampers challenge hits a high spot this week - 200 not out! Hels' always makes some marvellous art to stimulate our minds and get us creating - and this week is no exception - and she has candy on offer too. Check out her blog for details.
So, this week the theme is appropriately, 'numbers' and the song it's based on, 'I got your number'. I have dabbled in my journal again with Paperartsy paints in various greens then I (badly!) stencilled through the mini numbers template (crafters workshop) with pumpkin soup - might have worked better if I'd used paint perhaps, lol!!!
Used the Wendy Vecchi numbers background stamp in pine needles and forest moss distress, spritzing it to make the ink wick and run; then used Tim's small and large numbers and the Wendy Vecchi solid flower (still my favourite) and the Tim sentiment. Added some die cut numbers covered in gold krylon pen. Well, 200 deserves gold, right? Congrats on this milestone, Hels' - I have played along for quite a while whenever I can, and really love it.
Oh this is great! You know I'm a huge fan of your journalling and this is no exception! I am concerned that you're putting your dinner on your art now (Pumpkin Soup!) missed your mouth?!!!!! * ducks quickly!!!*

ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Pumpkin Soup, except to eat it. But I sure like that flower.
ReplyDeleteI've also used my Krylon Gold Leafing pen to change the color on numbers, but mine have always been the stick on kind. Yours are fantastic, and so are your lovely art journal pages.
