Happy WOYWW all. Sarah is hosting I can't quite believe it's so close to Christmas... my cards went in the post on Monday so will hopefully be winging their way to their destinations.
I made a journal page in my Dina Wakley ledger journal
I took Monday off work and went to do my Christmas shopping, just one or two bits left to get.
I also need to buy food for Christmas dinner as I will be at home this year, rather than going to my brother's . I have started the list but will leave the buying till the weekend or early next week.
I am working up to mid-day Christmas Eve and then we're off until 2 January so it will be a nice break - if we can get through the next week at work!
Kew was glorious on Saturday (day after our office party and the sun shone like summer)
there was a mist rising off the ground as we entered, it was quite magicaland the sun was bright on the dogwoods
I edited this post as I thought it was this week we were posting a group card - so it will be here next week instead

Your latest journal page is really lovely Helen and I can imagine you could make fab Xmas cards with that set. Start early! 🤣🤣 Enjoy the build up to Christmas and even better a good rest into the New Year. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteOooh blimey, I’d forgotten about the group card, thanks for the reminder, I’ve got a bit more time free now so will sit down and get on with it! Lovely pics from Kew, it was sunny here too that day, makes such a difference!

Hi Helen, I thought it was today too but I'm sure I'll find something else for next week though I suspect some people may not be around trying to get done for Christmas. Love the new journal page and will watch out for it on cards next year....if I can remember Lol! Happy woyww, Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteLove the journal page and will try to remember to look out for it for next year. Glad you had a sunny day at Kew.

Ooh I love the Christmas page - what a great stamp set. Lovely pics of Kew - the sunny weather makes all the difference doesn't it - I don't feel like I've seen the sun for weeks here!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely Christmas,

Nice stamps, worth trying to find again next year...never mind though, you always make grewt cards so it wont matter when you use them! I expect work is a bit manic, it seems to me that 'Christmas' is a huge deadline for all sorts of things that could easily wait. Saturday was beautiful wasnt it, i didnt do zkew of course, but i did do a bit of gardening!!
ReplyDeleteLove the latest journal page Helen. Hope the last week at work isn't too manic. Enjoy your proper break. Sarah
ReplyDeleteLove your latest journal pages, would make a great Christmas cards. Stunning blue skies at Kew, loving the misty ones and of course the heron! If I am having trouble focusing on flowers, I use the zoom and step away a little first. I Use this method a lot actually. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos from Kew, the mist is rather magical! Lovely journal page, I really like how you did around the edges! Merry Christmas!🎄🎅❤️Lindart #16
ReplyDeleteI love your Kew photos and the way you get photobombed by the heron. Your journal page is lovely.

That journal page could be a card in itself. Lovely. Enjoy the time off and you are brave, shopping for your meal the week of - we've been stashing stuff for a bit, and only need to get dairy on Monday and we should be good to go. I hate Xmas food shopping but way better now than 20 years ago when the stores were all closed form Eve to after Boxing day! I agree with Lindart - the mist is magical! Happy day late WOYWW!
