WOYWW 805

Welcome back deskers, another Wednesday has rolled (raced) around.  Sarah would love you to join in with WOYWW

I have even less to show than last week I think...

I dug out some card blanks (just white so far) ready for when I cut my masterboards into Christmas card toppers...

it looks a very blurry photo - I think it's mostly the cellophane bags the card blanks are in....

underneath is my square journal
which I did have another play with the Alison Bomber stamps

I painted the page first with the Paperartsy Mattints,

and added lots of layers of the grasses.

then I knocked it back with a thin layer of gesso.
I intend to add more top layers of stamping but haven't got round to it yet

(Tuesday night when I prepare my post is Bake Off night, currently also followed by Masterchef, gotta love cooking on tv!)

I'll finish with Kew from the weekend and some gorgeous colours.

it was a very grey morning but there were the odd glimpse of brightness.

thanks for looking, put the kettle on I'll be there soon... happy WOYWW

  2. Love the Kew pics, it’s so beautiful in its autumn finery! I’ve been enjoying Bake Off too, the Welsh girl Georgie comes from the village next to me so I’m rooting for her but think that Dylan might win.

  6. It's good to visit your blog to see what you're up to, that journal page looks promising and I am especially in ooh and awe over those photos of nature, such beautiful colors! I watch 'escape to the country' on a regular base and these photos come straight out of the episodes... 'beautiful views'! Hug from Holland, Marit #14

  9. Oh how we differ, cooking is bad enough but on TV is a definite no no for me LOL. Tuesday I'm out dancing if I can get up enough motivation to go out in the cold and Wednesday mornings is going to church house group and organising Badminton club for Thursday.... At least you are planning Christmas cards, of which I'm not, usually make a mad dash in December sometime before last posting date! Love the grass stamping and the Autumnal leaves what scrumptious colours. I was quite taken aback by the colours driving home from Epsom last week. There is one road going up to the downs (Ashley Road) lined by Beech trees and the colour of the fallen leaves was quite breathtaking, I gasped as I drove by. Hugs BJ#10
