WOYWW 784

Welcome deskers,  time to join in our weekly desk-fest with Sarah  for WOYWW

I thought I'd have some new goodies this week but they're not here yet! (teaser for next time)

Don't have a lot to share this week - i made a birthday card for my cousin whose birthday is later this month, the day before mine.

the stamp is one I have had ages, by Carabelle Studios, and not used for about as long!

I coloured it with Dina neon paints and neon scribble sticks and the background is Sage distress oxide.

I might add some sparkle before it has to go off to her.

Saturday was of course,  Kew day.. the goose creche was back again but they've all grown so much

the wildflower bed is growing
and I am still in love with the daisies in the rock garden

thanks for looking, put the kettle on, I'll be there soon!

Great picture of the ducklings and of course, the poppies. Wish I had some red wild poppies.

  3. I love your card Helen- that's a useful stamp. Love the Kew pics. Thought of you yesterday when a pair of swans and five cygnets walked up the street from the pond. I shooed them back with my brolly before they met the busy through road! x x Jo

Yes, I'm back ... last WOYWW post was Feb. That's a big gap. Better late than never.
Love as ever the Kew photos especially the floral, and great birthday card, well done.
    Happy WOYWW.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well for 2024!

  5. Great card, but the goose creche really makes me smile! Loving the neons - I have been hunting for some good neon yarn for a knitting project so they are on my mind LOL!
    Happy WOYWW!

  9. Love the card Helen, you do well to manage so much crafting and work full time too. I was lucky when I was working as I taught textiles and art so managed some crafting during the lunchtime and after school but never managed much at home, too many distractions. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x11x

  10. Beautiful card! I'm sure she will love it! Geese...we have so many of them here, wandering around everywhere. Big flocks of them in the fields not far from me, and I hear them flying over my house all the time, quite low, honking very loudly! Your daisy photo is lovely! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #16
