WOYWW 776

We say it every week, but this last week has flown by again. It's Wednesday again, time for WOYWW once more.

so I stamped out the new inks.... gorgeous gorgeous colours
closer
the I used some on a couple of tags

laid them side by side and stamped across them, then moved the tags to edge the other side and stamped again...

was just playing so these aren't a finished "thing"

I also coloured another of the printed pages my friend Lesley sent me, with the Paperartsy Mattints,  (apart from the red, which is a watered down Paperartsy Fresco paint, rather than the glazes.)

Kew on Saturday was lovely as always

they are starting to install some sculptures for the summer's "event"  which is featuring the work of Marc Quinn.   I can't wait to see what else is to come

Kim and I can't wait for more reflection play in these!

the tulips under the cherry trees in Cherry Walk had really come out this week,  I got carried away as I always do.

and loads more bluebells in the woodland walk have come out - it was just a shame there wasn't the promised sunshine!

Thanks for dropping by, I'll catch up soon.

happy WOYWW

  1. I am expecting some fantastic photography from you on the reflections over the coming weeks. You have a lot of talent behind a camera so things should be good.
Love the look of the new VF Claire inks but still keeping my money in my pocket for the time being.
    Have a lovely week Helen.

  5. Love the inks! I really need to settle on a new one, as my (20 YO) Distress inks are getting a little dried out and I crave new colours. Kew looks amazing. Maybe soon I will feel strong enough to suggest we do a family visit. I don't think we've been there since the very first time we traveled to the UK in the 90s! I remember cause I dropped my ..pedometer?(Step count thingie) down the loo... DOH!
    Happy WOYWW!

  10. Oh love the photos you share. And awesome colors with the new inks. Have a great week Southern Iowa had bloomed the tulips but north we've just got warm temps and cleaning up branches from the storms...all are ok but hail and tornadoes were all around us. Enjoy a great week.

  11. Gorgeous, gorgeous photos of Kew. How nice to see proper English bluebells rather than those upstart Spanish ones that seem to be everywhere now!

  12. I love Bluebells! I don't often see them here. The tulips are glorious! Ours haven't bloomed yet, but the daffodils are just starting, and the cherry trees. Your new colours are all wonderful, and it looks like you are having lots of fun with them! Have a great week, Lindart #18

  14. So much yummy colour on your post this week. The ink colours are super and that's a great leaf shape for me to copy freehand...the drawing flowers course is messy florals with your non dominant hand (although I can't use mine due to the carpal tunnel) so anyone can do it and the facebook group gives loads of idea too. Adore your printed paper colouring, now that's a lot like the course in actual fact. Super super reflection play, love it great colours again. The tulips are amazing in a field like that, sigh Hugs BJ#4

  15. Oh my word, those ink pads... I'm going to have to treat myself, I'm swooning! Perfect for your type of art too, you rarely reach for a plain old black outline, huh! Loving the Kew pics, the tulips are awesome, quite my faves for a minute. Till the peonies arrive at least!

  16. Hi, Helen!
Gorgeous pictures and inks to match! I’m trying to resist. Only one shop (so far) can I find to pre-order them.

    Thanks for sharing
Happy Weekend! Sorry to be so late.
