WOYWW 648

Wednesday  - another WOYWW  - desk sharing day.

Now I may have intimated last week that I would have some crafting to share with you.... not so much!

But I did try out the new distress ink pads and one of last week's new stencils

they're gorgeous colours, I do love a deep purple!

I used one of the purple sprays to create some splashes too.
and I also stamped out the Lynne Perrella images as well

they do stamp out very well -  and now I have some ready to use in projects at some stage

As some of them have vaguely Christmas theme I might use them for cards... at some time in what should be the not too distant future!!

Last week's trip to Kew started wet and ended gloriously sunny and pics can be seen here

Catch up with you soon,  happy WOYWW

  1. Glad that the rain went over at Kew Helen. Love the new colour - I haven't used mine yet but will have to get it out now I've seen your journal page. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

  2. Oh I have been coveting the Lynne Perrella stamps myself, as I have seen some fab ATCs using them. I have two sets in my basket on some site or another but can't quite pull the trigger on them. I'll probably find they are sold out when I finally do decide. LOL! So me. Love the deep purple and as ever, the Kew images,

    Happy WOYWW

  3. Happy WOYWW. We are certainly getting some heavy rain showers here. One minute it is almost black outside, and then the sun comes out. I haven't been able to ride my bike for weeks. Yes, I love the new Distress colour too. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but going to look for some Christmas card projects that it can work with. Ali x #6

  5. I decided I didn't need another purple, Wilted Violet was strong enough for me - then I went and bought the new one - but only the Oxide and its refill. Glad you catalogued your stamps.

  7. Oh I love deep purple too, that is simply gorgeous. New distress inks you say? Where have I been?

Nice to be back at my desk after the trauma of hand surgery, not completely fixed as my wrist is jolly sore and my thumb isn't moving fully yet, could be a few more months more but I can do most things again just need to be jolly careful. BJ#15

  10. You’re right, that purple is really lovely, such a wonderful rich colour. Now I may have a need. I really like the folksy llama, what a great stamp! Mind you, as per, I wouldn’t have a clue how to use him! Frosty mornings always make me think of you getting up and having to get the bus…brrrrr.

  13. Fabulous purple flowers Helen! Thanks for sharing your Kew visit. The colours there are gorgeous and I love your close ups.
The silhouettes remind me of Far Eastern shadow puppets.

  17. I LOVE your purple flowers, Helen - isn't it just the most glorious colour? And those fabulous stamps... I'm really tempted by those - they look very Indian and would look fabulous coloured with vibrant colours. I'm really tempted... You do find the most gorgeous stash!

Thank you for your visit - so glad you liked my cards this week, and thank you also for your good wishes for my hubby's health too. He's now got a date - 26th Nov.
