Another Wednesday, another desk floor . it's WOYWW again.
I am sure you've all had much more productive times than I have...
I adapted a card I had in stock for a work colleague's birthday(it's by Stencil Girl and similar to one I have but different...)
and I added some gloss sprays to some papers.you were right that the sneak peak I shared last week was indeed the card I made to sent to Jan for her birthday at the weekend but it's probably not my place to share the results!
so, having teased you I leave you with the link to Saturday at Kew !
don't ask me what this is, I don't know, but it is fascinating!
Happy WOYWW !
Ooh I do like that Stencil girl stencil Helen. It's good to have a stash of cards which can be adapted for last minute occasions. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteah, such a beautiful mess! Funny, I used that stamp on a journal page. I think it's be on my blog later in the week. One of my all time faves. Nice stencil too, but I am adopting a spending ban for a bit cause I have too much stuff untouched. Your page of Kew photos is such a lot of loveliness, I keep going back for a look. No idea what the heck that one is....centre of a flower for sure, but what one??
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW.

Stencil Girl are in my opinion some of the best stencils on the market and their blog is good too. The photograph looks like the centre of a flower to me and the textural detail is amazing. Wishing you a very happy and productive woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you having fun with your stencils. Stunning Kew photos as ever Helen. Loved the macro sequence with the moth and the triffid close ups!
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

I've never owned any Stencil Girl stencils because they were all out of my price range. This card is lovely.
ReplyDeleteNot playing here this week, and you don't have to tell me how many Kew posts I have missed. I've already heard about it from my friends in CA. I probably won't be able to visit this week, since I'm so busy in the yard, but I hope to make up for it late Saturday or Sunday morning.
Stunning flower from Kew. I loved the card you made for Jan and your "purple" range look good too. xx Jo
ReplyDeleteThat stencil is amazing, and I love the card you made. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#18)
ReplyDeleteLove that DW stamp and the way yu have used it - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteNow that stencil - You have made a terrific job os using it as those strands of hair look awfully fine and yet there is no bleed or anything. What a terrific image it is - can see that being useful in jouralling.
Intriguing flower? Off to Kew.
Hugs, Neet xx
It's ok, a little bit is better than nothing, and still keeps your creative juices flowing! I love that stencil girl stencil and the colours you used on it are so cool! Is the last photo a flower? Fascinating! Happy #635! xx zsuzsa #25

ReplyDeleteI like the design of that stencil Helen, ( but she looks really HUGE) to me at first glance. very interesting pattern on those leaves too. ~Stacy #31
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pieces as always, Helen. I love your use of colour and the stencils are brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit - I'm glad you liked our lilies! Unfortunately they are going over today but we've so enjoyed them. I made a start on my die organising today after we went to the Range yesterday and I found some nice baskets to keep them in. Now I've just got to decide where to keep the baskets!
Happy belated WOYWW,

Enjoyed reading and looking at what you have been up to.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been active on WOYWW for such a long time and I lost my Artistic mojo ages ago. I am hoping for inspiration looking at prolific artists like yourself.
Both stamp and stencil are on my wishlist!!
