WOYWW 348 - more new stuff!

Hi, and welcome to another week's desk snooping.. new to this? check Julia's the Stamping Ground either here or on her new wordpress set up  - she's fighting back from Google... updates which I admit I'd missed, but all to do with the ongoing loss of followers, apparently soon you'll have to be a google+ account person to comment on google/blogger blogs...

anyway more new stuff I promised... Paperartsy are in the middle of a week of new releases - started on Sunday - and yes, I have new stuff already (thanks to some superb service from That's Crafty and Artist Trading Post...

As you can see, I've hidden some of it, because although the online stores already hold the stocks, not all of the products I've grabbed couldn't wait for started with haven't had their moment of glory on the Paperartsy blog so it didn't seem fair to show them in full.. the stamp sets however, have - the top two are by Jo Firth Young and the bottom one is by a new designer to Paperartsy, Kay Carley.  Can't wait to play with these!   Stencils and new colours of Frescos too... Keep watching the blog at Paperartsy and there are daily videos and Periscopes too.

hiding under my new goodies, is a new journal page in progress, lots of circles and blogs... lots of layers - once I get it finished I'll share it in more detail.

Whichever of Julia's blogs you link up on I'll try and find you, though hoping to keep going with blogger.

  2. Love your new goodies and your subtle hiding of the as yet not announced ones - or are you hiding just how much you've bought?! Your journal page, as always, is awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with it!

  13. Aha, that makes me feel better...someone else who succumbed to new stash! And lovely it is too :-)
I don't see the problem with signing up for Google plus myself..you have to register to buy a toothbrush online these days, I just ignore all the google stuff that comes in. Losing the followers is a pain, but the world is still turning :-)

  16. Morning Helen! Can't believe how quickly you received your goodies. Are you hiding the paints because they haven't yet been shown? I've been a bit hit and miss with periscope. The live ones work fine but I can't always get a picture with the expired ones and they keep stopping so not sure if I've missed the paints. Loving that journal spread so far!

  17. I'm only putting the Linky on Blogger. It's only comments and following that will be prevented if you don't have a Google+ account. Makes me mad. Will run the two blogs in tandem for a while; then make a decision...
The circles in your journal - I could just reach out and pick them off the page, what brilliant 3dism! I've been watching the Papperartsy reveals...my wish list was huge by day 3!!

  18. I knew you'd be first in with those new PA stamps! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to.

Blown away by the 3D illusion on your circles - as Julia says, it looks as though you could reach out and pick them up.

Am very upset to hear that they're planning to go further and force us on to Google+. I knew you had to have a Google account in this latest sweep (and those without have been deleted from the Followers lists, hence the numbers going down), but if they go that step further and require us to join Google+, well... I'll just have to think again I think.

  25. I knew about GFC, where we have to be on google in order to follow, so that is why we lost so many, many followers (I lost 30 in one day, and more later), but I had not heard you must have a G+ account to comment on blogs. That is NOT going to happen, although I have no idea how to move my blog and all its gadgets to a new platform.

Speaking of gadgets, do you know where all your stamps are, or where to find them once you've used them? I only ask, because I've suddenly received more gifted stamps than I have categories. I'd love some advice from a person who owns more stamps, tools, and "stuff" than anyone I know who doesn't own their own business.

I'm obviously not playing today, but wanted to stop by to see what you were up to. I really like those circles, and the texture I believe I see in the photo.

  36. Great looking desk. I love new stuff and have a hard time telling myself to check first if I don't have something just like it before I buy new. My daughter is a Close to My Heart Demo and she just sells hers when the new stuff comes out but I can't bring myself to do that...I am a hoarder. Looking forward to seeing your creations. I am a little late getting around but I made it! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week. Vickie #71
