The latest theme for the swap group I'm in is "geometrics" and I've used a bit of a mish mash of Dylusions paint, and Paperartsy stencils and stamps
I started by painting the tags and atcs with the pin and orange paints
then stamped in Watering Can archival, the Ellen Vargo scratchy square randomly over the surfaces.
I added some stencilling with archival ink (Vermillion) and outlined some of the rectangles in white sharpie marker, and some black circles
sat and pondered my focal point for a while, before settling for the Lin Brown bird, and a greeting from a JoFY plate
painted the wingtips and eyes with the orange paint
and some pink ribbon on the tags
I completely forgot to write on my tags and atcs last time, so did that straight away this time!
They are fab Helen......and Wow do those colours sing! Love the little birdies ;-) xx

ReplyDeleteThe colours on these are great, Helen! I really love orange and pink together. The little bird is the perfect focal image. I find geometrics quite a challenge so I think you've created some lovely atcs and tags on quite a difficult topic! xxx

ReplyDeleteI'm a HUGE fan of geometric shapes, so these tags and ATCs were right up there as favorites. I thought the colors were wonderful, too. Not exactly two colors I would have chosen to pair together, but these sure work well. Adorable and fun. They sure made me "be happy."
