WOYWW 307

Hello again, deskers,  where did that week go? Seems no sooner is it one Wednesday than it's another.

I have been shopping again (still from the closing down Stamp Attic, where Wendy is still adding new things to the sale...this bundle arrived at work last Wednesday (typically!) and there will probably be another one arriving at work today..
some Stampendous cling stamps, a set of sentiments (need to find the EZ mount!) and a couple of stencils, and a few bundles of tags to keep me going.
Also decided it was time to start my ATC prep for the anniversary swap... took some  12x12 card, drew round a bunch of pre-cut atcs fitting in as many as I could on the card..
Haven't got very far with them yet, decided I'd do the backgrounds whilst the card is still in one piece and then...
...I'll cut them up and decorate the fronts - that way, I can keep them the way round I want (i.e portrait or landscape) and my images won't be upside down.. unless I want them to be!!

so the cutter is out ready to cut along my pencil lines (which are on the back so I can still see them)
Then I just need to decide how to finish them off.. and maybe make some more!
Not giving you too much of a peek so the "surprise" isn't spoiled.
Till next time, happy WOYWW. Head to Julia's Stamping Ground for the links and all the info .

  3. Aah Helen, I too went shopping this week, got home from my spree to find a whole load of boxes from last week's online crazy time waiting for me. Clever idea to create the background before cutting out..Cx #6

  5. At least you've started your ATCs. I really must, if I want to bring them to the crop. How has it come around so quick?!

  7. I bet you'll use those witchy stamps loads! In fact, are they small enough for ATCs? That would appeal to the WOYWW coven ;-)

  8. Now you're making me panic! We need to discuss your travel arrangements too.
Isd your cutter new, or do you diligently put it back in the packet? Colour me impressed if you do! I'm a great one for chucking our packaging and am living to regret that now as I try to re-organise my clear stamps. I think. I cant quite decide, I just know that my current system is useless!
I'll add my voice to the interst in the witchy stamps too, I've looked at them a few times and each time have decided I need to see some ideas first......

  9. Oh man! DS's girlfriend has a passion for all things raven. I may have to grab that stamp if they still have it, or get a couple of stamped images from you if I can twist your arm. I had a similar Smeared Ink one that I used for a card, blocking out the N to make it evermore :)

See you in a few weeks then? Are we swapping?

    Happy WOYWW!

  26. Argh, I'd forgotten about the ATC swap, might be able to do just one in time. It's times like this that I wish I could use a stamp! That's a clever idea to do all those ATC's on one page.
    Have a great week,

  28. I swear shopping is one third of crafting. The other thirds are organizing and then actual crafting itself . Have such fun with your new goodies
