Kate Yetter inspired journal page

This week Kate was back with three fabulous projects, one of which was a gorgeous journal page - you can see it here 

My page underwent some changes of heart along the way - the first image I was going to use, was too solid so I couldn't paint it and then my drippage wouldn't drip properly!!

Anyhow, eventually, after melting all over it, here it is... the colours aren't very good as I've taken the photos tonight, and the flash has fired for some and not others
 I started trying to get Eggplant to drip without watering it down in a bottle, big mistake!  the blue is ok, that's South Pacific mixed into a bottle that already had Snowflake in it, and although I don't like how it's dripped, it's dripped better than the eggplant - I switched to Dylusions then.
look how different it appears with flash!  The true colour - the purple is the fuschia Dylusions spray - is in between the two!!  I may try taking them again in daylight tomorrow.

I coloured the Lynne Perrella image with Eggplant  Beach Hut and Vanilla Frescos, watered down
anyhow, I am entering this to the Paperartsy challenge here

    Oh! These are fabulous pages, I think Dylusions spray look clear but I like Fresco's that is a sense of reality xx

    Fantastic page, yummy drippage from the Dylusions. Haven't you got some Bombay Inks you could have used? I use my inks for splats & drippage as i like how they come out.

    I do love white space on journal pages it really appeals to my love of CAS, love your page:-) xxx

    I agree with Darcy that the sideways drip looks rather effective. I love the colours on this and the use of that lovely LP stamp. I've been so behind again with commenting! I'm doing an online course so that's kept me busy along with checking on mum's bathroom; a return of Kevin and the heat!!! Have a great week! Julie Ann xxx

    I love this SO much Helen. As someone commented on my page last week (and it made me laugh so I am adopting it) I love this HARD! You know I love my drippage and runs but I really love the black and white elements you've mixed in with it.
