Time for another letter from the Craft Barn alphabet today, and it's D. I decided to go for 'drip' and used a raindrop stencil (Creative Expressions)
I used Paperartsy Fresco paint London Night for the rain drops, and the letters, stamped on white card, are from the Dylusions alphabet set. Umbrella Man is stamped on white card too.
I'm not happy with this page, so if I get time I'll complete another D word for the challenge later!
Amazing Helen, what a stunning page. The monochrome works so well.
ReplyDeleteWOW you're not happy with this page!!! I love it, those raindrops look fabulous and I love the drip font

Not happy? It looks rather effective, I think. I like the colour, the drops and the repetition of the word 'Drop'. Also I do love Umbrella man. I haven't even thought of anything yet! Julie Ann x
ReplyDeleteLove the drip drip drip Helen..really fun page...
ReplyDeleteHow can you not be happy?? It's fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a brilliant monochrome page - love all those giant drips (both the drips and the word drips!), and poor Umbrella Man getting drenched there at the bottom... but of course, I'm always happy to see more dictionary pages if you insist!

I love monochromatic, and this D page screams it. We are always our own worst critics. You have nothing to be unhappy about. Just trying something makes it special.
