WOYWW 204

Welcome back to another desk hop hosted by the lovely Julia at The Stamping Ground - time to share your best - or worst - views of your crafty spaces.

I have had to re-organise my Paperartsy stamps AGAIN!! into a bigger box - but I did managed to get two on a BOGOF (buy one get one free in case you're not sure) deal on Saturday... Trouble is, being bigger, it means the stamps in front of this stick out more and I need to find somewhere else to put them...

nice and neat in the box - room for a few more and room to rummage for the set I want!

nestling against the cardboard drawers of ink pads that I rarely use now - the stamps in front (Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi) are the ones that are sticking out into the room/exit of the room.... hmmmm

(I nearly tripped over taking my dinner tray out to the kitchen on Tuesday night - could have been messy!! something needs to be done!)

this is the size of the box - 12 inches wide by a bit longer - 2 for £6.99 (in WH Smith if anyone wants to see if their store has them!)

any the obligatory desk (which is why you're here!) - well, space on the floor obviously, as I don't as we know, have a desk... journal page mid-paint, new heat gun that arrived to replace the one that blew on me earlier this month in April (nearly gave myself away there, writing this on Tuesday, posting in May.... eeek May already?!!

Anyhow I've taken enough of your time, I'll let you on your way...thanks for dropping by.

p.s. this is the finished page!

  11. I forgot you worked on the floor! Perhaps you need a hairdressers trolley thing to stack it all on, then you can move it around? Thats what I just did to make space...#55

  16. I'm going to repeat advice that is often advised to me on sight of my desk/room. Time spent clearing and sorting will be a massive investment in getting creative more easily. And ya see, I know that...it's the motivation that I lack!! Bonus of the bargain boxes is the lovely colour..very PA, actually, huh!

  26. Hi Helen, those boxes are a good size - it's rare to find them 12" wide. You have seen the reports stating that most accidents happen in the home, I'm sure, so time to do something about those gorgeous stamp sets ... weed them out and send them to a good home, mine of course :) I'm only thinking of your safety you understand, I'd hate to see you do yourself an injury after all! 32. Love your page! I am also going through the whole stamp/space problem. Before we moved I had a huge craft room so my wood stamps were fine but now I just have a built in cabinet which is awesome but when I pull out one set a whole bunch fall out. So I will be making them into clear mount.

  40. Helen, your page turned out beautifully! You know, I feel like I have to reorganize something every week, because my crafty corner is small! Thanks for visiting me too--I think you should get one of those little sewing machines for your paper stitching. They are even smaller than basic sewing machines, and very affordable! Hugs dear! 46. Wow, that is a lot of stamps! I've never used stamps before and this morning at work, Fairy Thoughts put a new range out that had birds and their names on them and I thought about whether it was time to bite the bullet and add another craft to my bow. Alas, they were so good, they'd all gone by lunchtime! It's made me think though. The next time something that good comes in, I'm snapping it and a new hobby up! Thanks for popping by, and for sharing, and have a great week! Lucy #24 x
