WOYWW 199?

Crikey, nearly WOYWW anniversary time, better get making some ATC's... Don't know what WOYWW is? All the low-down is found here  and so is the link up to share YOUR desk.

Not a lot on my "desk" today - a part-done tag, not quite sure where to go with it now...

I took this one from the sofa... new Art Journalling mag on the floor... tag on the craft sheet... pots and pots - or lots of pots you could say - of pens and implements and coffee stirrers - behind them out of which the "reserved for" sign is still hanging, is my scraps box - once more it's overflowing, oh dear.... not much came of that resolution to only keep scraps of a size I could use..ha ha!!

The basket sits on top of one of those cardboard storage boxes which holds stamps (yes more, don't think I've ever shone you inside that one!) The basket holds all sorts of trinkets and bits and bobs - gems, frames, fancy buttons (too nice to use!)

So. hope you've had a good rummage, make sure you leave the place tidy when you go, please - cos it's always so neat here (chokes with laughter)..... I'll catch as many of you as I can, as always! Now, off you go, don't be late, Julia's waiting for you...see you soon.

  9. Ah the scraps box...the bane of crafters! I made a background for a card using Hels blocking technique and that used a bit up (then I found some free postcards I could paint over and it all went downhill from there!).

  12. Yay, sunshine here too!! The cats are basking in it streaming through the windows... I think we'd forgotten what the yellow thing in the sky was!
Lol, glad to see that we need to tidy up after potting around your desk. Will you get cross when yu can't find where we've put your important stuff though?? My son always used to do that if I dared to tidy his room... Grin :)

  17. PS - no, no it's my mother, not my mother in law... I don't know many people who'd willingly go and spend ten weeks with their mother in law!! My mum and I spend enough time shouting as it is!!

  18. We often make tags then have no idea where to go with them next. We really must buy an art journalling mag, we keep thinking about it then other crafty purchases take precedence!

Waving hi from the house of bears @#96 this week.

  23. Sunshine for a moment then whoops! It was gone - and me with LOADS of hand sewing to do and darkness all around. I so need a full day of sunshine and nothing else on my plate - and now you've reminded me of the ATCs...where DID I put those ones in progress......? Oh dear.

  24. Oh Helen--I struggle with how big of scraps to keep too! And that includes paper, fabric, felt, and aida cloth. But then I actually use them! So you are doing good. This reminds me I need to buy a new art journal mag for inspiration. Hugs dearest! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #28

  27. What is ity with us...a basket here and there of stuff that's too nice to use...I suffer from this terribly. Indeed, it's pretty much what got me into scrapbooks because the thought of using all the nice stuff and keeping it was very attractive!

  28. Busy, busy, busy!!! I'd trade yours for mine...mine is all picked up but didn't get to any crafting until today!! Have fun!

  31. Just had a lovely mooch around your space. I still cannot understand how you can work down there. If I tried it, I would never get up again. You are so right about the weather. We had two good weeks last year, since when it has been either wet or cold or both. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a good week. xx Maggie #17

I think crafters are like magpies, we love those pretty things and collect them but don't want to use them cause they are too pretty! lol Would love to plunder through that basket of goodies!
