WOYWW 99

I'm not sure how many of the 99 weeks I have been following - or taking part, which is slightly fewer- in the blog phenomenen that is What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday; hosted by the divine Mrs Dunnit - I know it isn't all of them as I only started blogging just over 18 months ago, but it is certainly addictive, and now I live for Wednesdays!  Now we are rapidly approaching the 2nd anniversary, and my PIF gift is ready and waiting - is yours? (It's not compulsary, though, so don't panic)

So, on week 99, what is happening, chez Helen on the floor?

Well, not today but a couple of days ago - there was some new stash (now that was a surprise, wasn't it, rofl!!)
Got back from a day visiting my Mum on Saturday evening, to find some reading matter and the Umbrella man die - oh yes!   Currently I am waiting for some little brass charms to arrive... ahem.

Took this shot of the "storage area" to the right of my craft mat, from my tiny stool at the computer desk (that you saw last week) - the must haves to hand are spreading - not that there is anywhere to move them to- and the glossy accents IS meant to be on its side as it's nearly empty!
Do you like my sunshade for my Tim and Wendy stamps - the little blue towel?  It's to stop the sun getting to the rubber - cute, huh?!!

Ok, that's it for me today - thanks for your comments last week, and don't forget to come back later to see this week's Tag it On challenge - maybe you'll join in this week?! It's free... lol. Go on, you know you want to.
Are you all going to watch the Wedding on Friday? I will - I've decided against going to London and will just watch it on tv.

  8. I spy a lot of fun stuff on your desk not the least of which is the stamps! I love stamps and tend to want to keep them close by to look at. Luckily (or unfortunately) I don't have sun to contend with in my studio. Thanks for sharing. Vickie aka okienurse #37

As for the wedding ...I want to watch it but DD is at work and so we have decided to tape it and all watch when she gets in so must steer clear of the news.

  21. Oh I do love Somerset Studio. I have back to the premier issue and whenever I get a current copy I find it so interesting to see how it's developed over the years. I would totally curl up with that issue and feign sickness so DH had to feed the kids and I could just soak it in.

    Have fun

  23. Great reading material, I usually have a good browse through those mags at the store. Won't be watching the wedding live due to the time difference, but will no doubt have a peak at the bbc news website for the scoop. I know a lot of peeps setting their alarm clock for 3am over here and the news is full of the wedding, there's loads of special editions of magazines too and the counter is usually about 3 deep with folks trying to grab a copy! I sometimes wonder if the Americans are more enamoured with the whole royal family than the brits!

New stash - I would never have believed it. Have great fun with it. I shall certainly be watching the Royal Wedding on Friday, before we have our street party (weather permitting)

Ah, the royal wedding. I guess it's the greatest thing going on right now....all over USA T.V. I don't think anyone can escape watching it. Well, maybe part of the coverage, as I will be sleeping. ;)

  29. Most useful little blue towel in the history of stamping. I want that die. And once you get going with it, I know I'm a gonner to will power! I dunno how many of the 99 weeks either, but it wouldn't be Wenesday without you, for sure.

  42. Great desk. Love the Charlie Chaplin image in all its forms. Is the source of the Somerset Studio magazine somewhere in the UK I wonder - I'd really like to see a copy I think. I watched the wedding from the bridegroom arriving at the church to the balcony kiss and thought it went perfectly. Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. Elizabeth x #108
