Hello again, everyone! Hope you all had a good week. Here we are again, all round Julia's for another 'snoop' round desks/tables/whatever vaguely flat surface you can find to craft at.
There isn't too much new happening here, so no drawers or heaps of stash to show. I've been busy making (tags again, mainly) challenge entries. (am loving Simon Says Stamp and Show!) For once, no new stash purchases at all. (Got to save up for Ally Pally at the end of September! (plus Worthing if I can fit it in.. and I haven't used all the Stevenage stash yet!)
I've also been making a wedding card for a friend at work who is getting married soon in Italy. It's still a work in progress but here's some sneaks! Love this Judikins stamp!
I wanted to put their initals round a heart - ideally twisted through a heart - but do you think I could find an outline heart stamp? No, course not.... Have I got a heart die? No, nor could I find a grunge one (apart from a very small, solid one)
So at the moment I am using the Tim heart cut out and 'filled' with glossy accents and some glitter chucked in (it's still drying.....) I'll blog the finished card when it is, erm, finished, funnily enough!!
If you don't know what this WOYWW is all about (and if not, WHERE have you been?) check out Julia's blog for all the info and links to the desks of the world. Have a great week, everyone.
looks like a great card...or will be when it is finished..lol

Loving that stamp - very elegant ;)
ReplyDeleteLoving that heart - one I don't have, so it must go on the shopping list. I love stamps where you can cut up the image and make so many useful bits from it. The heart, the banner, filling the surround with other things... so many possibilities :)
