Tag Tuesday - faces

Today's Tag Tuesday theme is "faces".  I love this Judikins stamp and haven't used it for ages.

I used spiced marmalade and rusty hinge DI's on the tag after I saw what a fab combination it made here - thanks Helena!

Anyhow, I stamped the face originally in tattered rose DI but although I coloured the lips and eyes with pencils, decided it didn't show up as much as I wanted - so managed to line up the stamp again in black - amazingly! (it's a wooden stamp).

I then used wild honey and crushed olive DI's with a new Crafters Workshop flower template I bought at Newbury  - this is the first time I've used it (I met Alison there and she said how good they were)

I've added a Wendy sentiment and a paper flower that I've added some colour to and also some gold goop - Inka Gold, and a brad.
It's not how I imagined I'd do this challenge but it kind of evolved!

    What an amazing job of restamping your original image. Mine would never have lined up in a hundred tries!! Nicely done.

    I love the way the face seems like she is emerging from a sea of flowers! I love the simplicity and the way you colored the face.

    This is beautiful - I love how the face and the sentiment stand out against the brilliant background. It's a clean and simple design, but certainly not "simple", IYKWIM. :)
