WOYWW 889

Happy WOYWW fellow deskers, hope you are all keeping well.  Another week has flown by and we are re-grouping with Sarah

I spent some time on Sunday stamping out flowers (Alison Bomber for Paperartsy) coneflowers, poppies and cosmos sets
and even longer colouring them with the new pencils, I have to say I am pleased with them, they give good coverage and layer quite nicely

they aren't water soluble so you can't fully blend but for £20 I think they're a bargain.

I have started the laborious task of cutting them out, too....

Kew on Saturday was bright and sunny

and lots of colour

the blue tits flit in and out very fast for their food!

the weekend ahead is looking to be somewhat too hot, (never happy!) but  I will enjoy nevertheless.

thanks for looking, hope you all have a good week.

  1. Love all the stamped flowers. the Cosmos seeds from RHS Wisley are the only ones I've had success with from the members seeds so far. They are all different colours but one is my favourite pinky purple. Wow that great tit on the hand is amazing well done getting that shot. Hugs Bj#2

  2. The flower stamps look lovely and the pencils worked well, good buy. The photo of the Tit is brilliant. I managed to escape from the cabin but right now it looks worse than before even though I have given more stuff away! Happy woyww, Angela x8x

  3. What a lovely calm thing to do colouring in those beautiful flower stamps, the fussy cutting might be more tedious! Gorgeous pics from Kew, the Bluetit one is amazing!

  5. I love your flower colouring and your Kew photos were lovely this week. I’m amazed how the tits come to feed from your hands! I must see if I can find an eryngium, the bees seem to like them too.

  6. Love your colouring, I'm guessing these wre the pencils from the works. I still haven't played properly with my prismacolour ones. Can't believe there is a tit being hand fed!!
Not posting this week, just back from Wales and had to be up and out early this morning - nothing to show!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx

  8. Ooh err, I see what you mean about fussy cutting, there’s a lot and as soon as you look down to cut, you’ll miss something exciting on the pitch. Although we haven’t been too excited by it so far….that and the test match, we’re very ball orientated at tv time! Kew is colour glorious through your lens - very enjoyable, thank you!
