Happy Wednesday all. Hope you are keeping well, and Jan that your cataract op went well. It's time for WOYWW again, head to Sarah's for the link up. Week 888. what a lovely number.
I've not got anything to show this week, because Saturday was spent
at Lords. in the rain... with not much cricket.... I did manage a blog about it though!I had intended to have had some more crafting to show today, as my boiler should have been being installed on Tuesday, but - yet again - they couldn't do it. The scaffolding didn't arrive and so it has been rescheduled again for next week.
I had thought I could spend the day crafting while the work was done. Instead I went to work after the fitter left, unable to do the work. Third time lucky next Thursday.
So I hope you have all had a much more successful week than I did...

What a pain about the boiler…again! So frustrating for you, let’s hope they do actually sort it out next time…. Great to have a trip to Lords, shame the weather wasn’t playing ball (neither were the cricketers!) but it looks like a fun experience AND you had sunshine for Kew on Sunday, hooray!

ReplyDeleteI suppose boiler delay in the Summer is less of an issue, but sill super annoying - and cold showers when the weather is not 30 are just annoying! Gorgeous flowers 'tho!

Guess that's English weather for you. I bet you're fed up by now with the boiler but then I bet the fitter is too, fingers crossed for next week. Have a good woyww, hugs Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteThat’s a nuisance about the boiler again. Good luck next time. I think it might be time to write a complaint letter? They seem to need a boot up the jacksie.
ReplyDeleteYour Kew photos are beautiful this week, lovely interplay between light and shade.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Helen, what a pain about the boiler. I have had much better luck because mine was changed a few weeks ago and it went with hardly a hiccup. When you do get your new boiler I hope you will find, as I have done, that it makes a huge difference having an efficient heating system at last. As ever, I enjoy your Kew photos on Facebook. Have a great WOYWW. Elizabeth xx #12
