Hi deskers, Wednesday rolled round fast again and it's time for WOYWW at Sarah's
I had to take Tuesday off work as the gas mains in the street are being replaced and they needed to get inside to move the gas meter and join up the new pipes... then they couldn't get the boiler re-lit so I've had to call British Gas to do it (and booked the service ) so I'm hanging around this morning too... I may already be gone by the time you visit (hopefully!)
I added some more to last week's journal page (again, something Dina did in her supporter live )then I played about with paint on another page. the circles are a gorgeous sort of jade green called malachite, not as blue as the picture makes them look
this was one I did at the weekend, brayered paint on the background and Alison Bomber stamps.
the forecast this weekend is currently also looking good!
Thanks for visiting, see you soon!
Wishing Neet continued recovery .

Sorry I missed KEW this week. Will catch up after Thursday. I like the addition to your journal page.
ReplyDeleteFabulous journal pages Helen. Hope all goes well with the gas and the boiler is working again soon. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah.
ReplyDeleteGreat journal pages, that orangey one sings to me! Beautiful blossoms from Kew. Off to look at your photos. Hugs Angela #4
ReplyDeleteI love how you work your journal pages and the orange is lovely. Hope everything gets sorted for you with the gas as it's still a bit chilly though the sun is coming out here today. Happy woyww, Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteReally love all of the journal pages, in all their stages of done-ness, and the flowers at KEW really show that Spring is nearly sprung! Round here we expect 16 degrees today so woo hoo! Our magnolia is in bloom, I just hope it lasts for a bit! Happy WOYWW, in a pre-kniting day dash!

Look at that blossom, completely glorious! Hooray for warmer temperatures this week and blue skies and sunshine, wahoo! Pain about the gas pipes/boiler etc, sigh, I know these things have to be sorted but still…hope you don’t have to hang around too much today xx

Happy WOYWW. What beautiful blossom at Kew. We are quite high up above the Wye Valley here, so our magnolias are not blooming quite yet. Our bungalow is called The Magnolias, so you can guess what trees are outside! Ali x #11
ReplyDeleteIt's a pain hanging round for workers - not of your choosing but you still have to be there! Hope they put it right for you. Loving the journal pages - you always seem to know when to stop. Love the colours. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteAdore the additions to your journal page and your new ones too. Love how you use the word stamps in the background and then as a focal point. And all the blossom around is divine isn't it. Hugs Bj#1
