I can't believe it's Wednesday again and time for WOYWW already. Hope you've all had a good week. Head to Sarah's to find out what it's all about. I do hope Neet is recovering.
I made some more of the cards I shared last week, in the yellow/purple combo which was my favourite.
I didn't bother photographing them as they are the same as the last batch.
then I took to a journal. the birds for hair were inspired by a Dina supporters live, she draws her faces free-hand but I used one of her stencils.
I'll add to it at some stage
Kew last Saturday was the final week of the 2026 orchid display
but there was lots of other colour too
I didn't notice the hair was birds but now you say.... love the page so effective. Had to go back to revisit the purple and yellow card yes my favourite as well and the colour theme for my latest journal page by complete coincidence as the colours were set elements. Our magnolia is coming out slowly. Hugs Bj#3
ReplyDeleteYou have a hair theme this week! I love the bird hair but had a chuckle at the lion! Your Kew photos are uplifting and I'm sure your visits there must be an absolute treat each week. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteDetermined to do better than last week!! Love the beginnings and the orchids. I am rubbish at faces too LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy pre-knitting WOYWW!

It is wonderful to see your creations, and photos from Kew again. Our bungalow is called The Magnolias, as we have 4 Magnolia trees. No flowers yet, but the whole village looks forward to them. Ali x
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, great photos and love the hair birds, clever idea. The magnolias are beautiful. Happy woyww, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteFabulous photographs. I thought the lion was a very odd shape in front, but then I realised it was the waterspout 🤣🤣 hugs Angela #10

The bird hair is awesome! I didn't noticce at first! Beautiful flowers, I love magnolias. We have several trees in our neighborhood, but it will be at least a month before they will bloom. 💮Lindart #13
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun stencil. The bird hair lady was incredible. I like the colors you chose, too. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I appreciate it a LOT, dear Helen.
ReplyDeleteLove the journal page, such a lovely colour and so interesting with the birds. The magnolias are just stunning this year and my contorted hazel looks amazing! Soon be tulip time but with two rainy winters I wonder if any will come up in my garden this spring! Have a lovely week, love n hugs Cindyxx
