Hello once again, tis Wednesday and time for WOYWW You can find the link at Sarah's.
I had a soggy day at Kew on Saturday - should have done what my Kew buddy Kim did and go Sunday when it was glorious!
but instead on Sunday I had a play with the journal page I started last week
Not sure yet if it's finished, I think it needs a bit more bottom right, but for now it's done
I meant to tell you last week that the fabric Christmas tree I bought, is built on a metal frame, which has been covered with the fabric scraps.
It's now in place on my window sill ready to celebrate Christmas, along with the amaryllis bulb which I've planted up and am waiting for it to grow.
So, Saturday, Kew, soggy - but at least not the heavy rain that was forecast, and we were lucky not to have flooding like some
I did find some colour though
mostly in the form of dogwoods
Thanks for your message the other day, appreciated, I'm finding it tough.
ReplyDeleteYour probably the same as me dreading the next screening, one tonight again, hubby keeps saying things can only get better with all that talent!

I think your journal page is well balanced as it is and doesn’t need anything else tbh! I’m glad your new little fabric Christmas tree is now up on your windowsill, such a great idea for using up scraps xx

ReplyDeleteGreat journal page, love that blue. Sorry your Kew visit was a bit wet, it’s never that pleasant to be walking around in the rain, but you were honoured with a visit from the Heron. Happy WOYWW.Angela #10
