WOYWW 332

Hello fellow deskers, it's time for another snoop round our crafty workspaces. If you're  just landed from another planet you may not know what WOYWW is all about - so here is the place to check it out and link up.
And this is my floor today (again if you've just landed you may not know I work on the floor.. yes, my legs protest...)
two versions of the same picture - one under electric light,
and one with the flash.. this is the more realistic one colourwise!

anyhow, new stash arrived today, couple of new stencils, couple of the newish distress inks and some "snowflake paste" from Finnabair's range for Prima.
thought if I was meant to be cracking on with the Christmas cards, that may come in handy!

On the craft sheet just behind the goodies, are the latest cards in progress.

you can't really see them, but it's a JoFy Paperartsy snowman stamp Hence the snowflake paste.. I expect it's just like any other white texture paste, but we'll have a play and see...
Going to call it a day, as my computer is being temperamental (old, "c" drive is nearly full, need an external hard drive to save my photos to... ) so I'll hopefully be able to link up in the morning!!

  1. Lovely new stash and the snowflake paste sounds interesting too
I have an external hard drive and it's so easy to install plug and go turn it on when you need it so it's the perfect thing to keep things private from the net :)

  6. Lovely new stuff :) Hope you can show us what the "snowflake" paste looks like.
Yes, I knew the link was wrong straight away. I keep trying (unsuccessfully) to link via my (smart!) phone. This has happened before, somehow putting up an older post. I should probably just give up trying to make it work. (I can do lots of stuff via the phone, just not this linking.) Ho hum :)
    Have a good week Helen.

  9. Doesn't your snowflake paste melt when it's indoors....? ;-). Actually sounds great, is it sparkly? That would make it even better in my book :-)
Did you get a lift sorted for the Crop?

  10. More new stash and talk of Christmas.....it's all just too much for me today Helen lol I am still trying to find room for all my stash to fit in the new sewing room and as for Christmas? Well that will just have to wait til I get rid of these builders lol.
    Have a great week.

  12. Snap!I'm having the same problem with my hard drive. I don't trust Dropbox, because you need internet to have access to the photos, and I might not always have that. So I'm looking at external hard drives for my photos. I have one made by Western Digital (WD) and it is called a Passport. But it's not enough. Let me know what you come up with please....

  13. Fab stash, you always seem to make me want to come and play with it all. Not going to nag you, but go get that hard drive!! You don't want to lose your photos. Shout if you want any help with it all. Take care Zo xx 32

  14. Love your new stencils, Helen! I'll look for them online! I recognise Gabrielle Pollaco's name from YT. She makes these amazing mixed media projects. I didn't know she made her own stencils now. Hope you have a good week! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #36

  20. hehehe I love that you craft on your floor - me poor old knees wouldn't like it these days, but I do tend to cover the floor with all sorts of crafting necessities whilst I'm working as the desk is never big enough! You have a lot of yummy new goodies to play with, I will look forward to seeing the outcome :o) Have a great week. Annie C #35

  21. Ooh, hadn't seen those stencils before - very tempting indeed! And I see you succumbed to the scarecrow (I keep wanting to call him a snowman too, but really I think he's a scarecrow - how about snowcrow?!)... Another one I'm tempted by after Sarah B wanted to see him in action when I was demo-ing. I've also just got some some of the snowflake stuff (though not been anywhere near my craft desk lately to play with it)... great minds, eh!

  23. Hi Helen,
After having both knees replaced now - there is no way I could work on the floor! It's weird, I can't put any pressure on my knees. They feel good walking though!!!

Nice new stash. The snowflake stuff sounds quite interesting. You'll have to share how it turns out.

Thank you for visiting me already!!

    Happy WOYWW
