Last week I received 3 Prima Colour Bloom sprays that I bought following my weekend away at Lin Brown's, when I fell in love with these gorgeous colours!
I have Cobalt, Glistening Waves and Sunshine. I spritzed the page with them one at a time.
Took out my Tim Holtz stencil that I've never used, and mixed Cheesecake and Chalk Fresco paints, stencilled across the bottom of each page.
The stars are a Crafters Workshop stencil, I used Peacoat (opaque) Fresco.
The little stamps are by Technique Tuesday and I hand wrote my quote
"Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better" (Jim Rohn)
half on each page, with a medium nibbed Pitt pen.
The shimmer in the sprays is a) hard to photograph but b) beautiful!!

Oooh fab, and you used your new sprays and your new TT stamps. Love those stars xxx
ReplyDeleteUnusual combo of colours that work really well Helen. Getting brave with your own writing which looks good. X
ReplyDeleteReally nice pages Helen! It's nice to use new stash for the first time :-) Really liking those stars and am jealous of your new prima sprays...really don't need another colouring medium tho!!! But you've managed to catch the shimmer in the photos so well done! Claire x

ReplyDeleteThe stars have aligned to create this stunning page. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI found the perfect quote for this challenge, but didn't use it because I didn't have any way to show sunlight. That stencil you used would have been perfect. It helps to own lots of tools and toys (grin).
Fantastic quote Helen, a tad easier than the last challenge and two lovely journal pages. Great handwriting and use of your stencils. The Prima Blooms look amazing but am tempted by the Lindy's Stamp Gang colours too :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteNever heard of those sprays - I think I live in a closet at times LOL. Great pages, love the stars and congrats on the handwriting - takes courage but it's great when you step out.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
I've been wondering about the Prima sprays so it's great to see them in action. Sounds like you're enjoying playing with them, and I certainly love these starry pages! Great quote too.
